Canberra will do the Knights, their a basket case inside atm. They will beat Wests going by last night but I gotta feeling Manly will roll them. Des would want a last 2 win against Canberra and Dogs.

We've been playing some great attacking footy. It's the errors, especially after scoring, that will get punished by the Storm and Souffs.
1. 2nd round v Riff at their home ground while they were at full strength + Sutton. We were without Keary and .......(see point 2). I believe this game gave us the confidence and belief that we could go all the way.
2. Signing of Matt Lodge after this game.
The NQ team are no mugs and although the score looked like a blowout, I really believe it could have gone either way. It was a Sam Verills front on tackle of Jordan McLean 1 metre from our line at a crucial time which was a big, big moment. The Melba 16-0 was also very deceptive as Penrith actually crossed over the line about 5 times. Can't always look at the scoreline.
Still, it's Penrith, Melbourne and Easts in that order imo for favouratism. We may not relish meeting Souffs, Melba and Penrith (perhaps multiple times) in the next 6 weeks but the converse is true - they won't relish facing us either.
GO EASTS!

It's Penrith, Storm and Roosters.
Souths half a chance.
They were the better side against them last year in the finals and have beaten them twice since then, and if they click for a night they definitely have the ability across the park to win a game against the Panthers.

With the number of teams playing each other twice makes the season too long, play each other once and it is too short.
A conference system doesn't really work either as one conference may have the top 7 sides in it and the other has 1 team that may only just make it if they were in the other side.
Canberra may have an easier draw then us but I don't expect us to drop two games. A for and against is way better then there's which will see us stay in the eight.
King Salvo is gonna give you the whole Magiller on the conference system now.
