He is just an abject, loathsome individual. I'm surprised he didn't bring his gay flag to the press conference.

Just looked on Wiki (Not that that's always accurate) and it says BlueBet is owned by the Storm if so I agree why are the NSW Govt even contemplating it.

Very Poorly researched I would say

They have a innovation committee though with a cross section of representatives that put forward rule change recommendations-- PV is just one member of this committee which also included 2 Current NRL coaches and 2 Current NRL players- Luke Keary one of them

Chaired by ARL Commission member Wayne Pearce, the committee was made up of chairman Peter V'landys, head of football Graham Annesley, veteran coaches Craig Bellamy and Ricky Stuart, referee Matt Cecchin, as well as current internationals Luke Keary and Damien Cook.

"The message from the fans and our broadcasters has been clear - the game became too predictable and the balance between attack and defence had gone too far in favour of defence.

PV has done a sterling job - only other head of the league that could have done what PV has done over the past few years in basically saving the game is Johnny Quayle.

I was actually thinking of Endeavour Field.

Haha and Hitler was only one member of the Nazi party. Don't get me wrong I'm not comparing PVLs ethics to Hitlers just the way he dictates.

Why does it have to be that way though - 25 rounds reffed one way 4 weeks of finals another
Of course the scoreline isn't the same but it's the same style of game. The change in officating is why the Rabbits shoot the lights out in the lead up to the finals. Heaps of 6 again calls and leg up penalties for them but then it dries up and they have to actually earn their wins in the finals. last year was the first time they were able to adapt

It is a GF to determine the Conference winners to play in the superbowl like game - The runner up in the superbowl type conference winners game can at least say they were a conference winner - runners up in NRL GF have nothing to show for reaching the GF - basically deemed the same as the other 14 teams that didn't play in GF
Personally, I would rather win the grand final, than win the minor premiership and lose the grand final. It’s a consultation prize, with minimal meaning in the real world.

The Greek, ironically, pussied out. How you couldn't outplay a tall streak of piss like Dominus Pirouette is beyond me. I guess it doesn't help when your Trojan horse has nothing in it.

Jeez, you really have a woody for this guy don't you? Look at the names on that committee... which is the odd one out that should be there? Also look at the names.. who is the one that would bully and push their own view and agenda? What sponsor group would benefit from larger and more inconsistent football results? What Sponsor group has a close affiliation with Vlad?

Credit where credit is due in PV in reality saving the game.

I could not imagine Bellamy or Stuart being pushed around though and yes they would be trying to push their own agenda's for sure as they have done previously.

Yes Bellamy is the odd one on the committee for sure - all that wrestling/judo and assorted unsavory tackles that the Storm inflicted on the game.

Coaches shouldn't be anywhere near such committees - moaning that the play the ball was too fast so all this wrestling/judo and assorted unsavory tackles including third man in nonsense came into the game and then it was too hard to score so lets bring in the decoy runner rubbish - oh inside and outside shoulder.

Yes a fan and also a fan of his old flame Patti who I credit for the best opening song lyrics. “Jesus died for somebody’s sins but not mine”
