It’s only fitting that we farewell the SCG and honour our time there by putting on a cricket score against a side who have nothing to play for. They have no pride and they are deserving of the wooden spoon.

This is a game to fine tune some combinations. A good warm up game for the next 6 weeks of footy to follow. Against this mob we would really need to win by 80 to make any sort of statement. And even then, it’s only The Tigers.

Farewell to the SCG. It’s been great visiting despite not being able to see much. It was good to remain in our heartland.

We've had some amazing wins there though (I do believe the opposition get bamboozled by the ground configuration) and it has served us well as Fortress Easts. Will be very interesting to see if anymore changes are made. This is a must win for us because it's largely up to us - we have most of the say about the result of this one. Way more than the two games after it. I hope we don't rest anyone else.

I'm sure they realise the importance of this one. I just hope once we start scoring we then don't go looking to go wide and score off every play. When we do that it's always ends up unconvincing.

Agree with your sentiments 13 it's been great to remain on our home patch and play out of the SCG this last 4 years but can't wait for the new stadium now - tired of the sub par view for footy at the SCG.

Tigers are capable of pulling a performance out of their ass, they have pushed the Eels, Cowboys & Panthers all in the last couple of months.

Agreed that said those performances were with Jackson Hastings in the side I think they are not as good a team without him To my knowledge he is still out with injury but I have not looked at their side tonight

Maybe pessimistic but I just hope we go hard and win.

Everybody lifts against us and we've suffered lotsa upsets when playing shyte teams this season. I'm just gonna hope we play properly and make sure of the win (without trying to play like the Harlem Globetrotters just because we're expected to thrash them). Anything else a bonus.

Alas, my Cattleman's Lagers are sitting in Gymea right now... 'lodged by sender' yesterday. Will have to source another beverage.
