Yep, hope were not too focused on the scoreboard. I want to see the style of footy played tonight that we will need to deliver in the coming weeks. Disciplined with respect for possession.

Sure play a bit of footy but we have been guilty of being a bit flippant in games like this in the past and got ourselves into trouble.

It’s only fitting that we farewell the SCG and honour our time there by putting on a cricket score against a side who have nothing to play for. They have no pride and they are deserving of the wooden spoon.

This is a game to fine tune some combinations. A good warm up game for the next 6 weeks of footy to follow. Against this mob we would really need to win by 80 to make any sort of statement. And even then, it’s only The Tigers.

Farewell to the SCG. It’s been great visiting despite not being able to see much. It was good to remain in our heartland.

I went to the cowboys game last week. As a sunny coast resident the family does a Sydney game one or two times a year but with COVID had not been for a few years. Have to say the SCG may have been great for our winning percentage but gee it’s a rubbish place to watch rugby league. I certainly will be glad not to watch a game there again.
