They all know they have to hit around the hip though, it’s just fatigue/laziness. Needs to do better. Nothing malicious but you can see why the game wants to rub it out and I’ve got no problems with it, 3rd man in around the legs isn’t part of the fabric of our game.

There’s been 6 different premiership winners over the past decade, the same amount of premiership winners as in the AFL over the last decade. There’s no evidence a draft is any more effective. I don’t think the issue is as big as some make out.
Yep and we saw one last night
But at the start of each season do any of us chuck in Titans, Knights, Wests and, Saints, Warriors, Dogs (maybe next year) as in the hunt for the GF ?

Some clubs cause of success can attract decent players, others have coaches like TR that can turn around blokes like Lodge, Hutch and not pinups like Nat and make something out of them.

Can't change that but maybe the problem is with junior RL and bring players through, I dunno the answer but I'd like the comp a little more balanced.

            • Obviously Im glad the Chooks won but the score line was the thing for me, it showed me that the Roosters are a dangerous, quality side that is clicking.
If we just keep with the one game at a time theme & win, it keeps the Chooks right in this. We now start concentrating on only 1 team & thats Melbourne, everything is on the line.
I treat this game like a GF the Roosters have to win it to win the comp.
This is now quality teams for the Roosters to get over, Melbourne are the most incredible club they continue to be at the top with no Papaenhazen, no Welsh, no Kaufusi & they had that quality winger Coates out for a long time plus Remi Smith is out for the season.
Its in Melbourne & this is the game that will have the Roosters believing they can win the comp if they win. A loss will mentally effect us & we wont win the comp, Im tellin youse.

If you were watching the game you would know - pretty clear why he was reported though

I very much doubt that. I would average attending at least 16-18 games a year minimum since 1987. There was one season where I attended 24 games. I am very well known amongst Roosters supporters. So you wish you’ve been to more games than me Queeny.

How’s that? You can barely see a thing at the SCG. There was a close up of Radley on the screen when the incident occurred but no replay. Nobody around me saw what he did. Shows how much you know. Sounds like you haven’t been to the SCG to support your team at all. Shame on you Queeny. Stick to Googling which is what you do best.

I don’t think you can stop it, that’s life and I’m not sure we should be rewarding poorly run clubs with advantages just to level the comp.

Personally I think the game needs towards a relegation model so that clubs and fans at the bottom of the ladder still have something to play for at the back end of the season because this round of footy just can’t have been enjoyable for anyone buts fans of the clubs winning.

Real shame for a 300+ gamer.
It was his shot knowing full well his career was ending and he took by both horns.

Agreed it was shame but I think he was just letting it all hang out.

Get rid of the third man in tackle - the two defenders catch and hold the ball carrier which should be enough for the ref to call held and play the ball - Hastings suffered s fractured leg from one of these and the way they pull and twist the ball carrier and press down with their chest on the ball carriers head/neck one day there will be a serious neck injury

Hip drop / cannon ball/ grapple/chicken wing etc tackles have also come about because of this rubbish tackling style

                                excuses

We would sit in the grandstand 2nd tier and would be able to see straight down the field unlike the cheaper seats at ground level where if the play was on the other side of the field you only saw the players from the waist up.

Yeh hardly went - we were only regulars for when the Roosters played games at SCG from 1972 to 1986 including finals - NSWRL/Pre-season comps and finals - mmm google it
