Agreed it was shame but I think he was just letting it all hang out.
Jared would have had a tear in his eye… might help him with any fine

I can vouch for Thirteen, I sit with him at games if Im there but Im nowhere near Thirteen's level of attandance plus he takes his boys. He's sent me multiple photos when he's watching the Roosters at Suncorp, Western Australia, South Australia where ever the Chooks are playing, photos of him & his 2 boys on the same plane as the team, he's sitting behind Victor in one of them.
Im 55 & Ive been going to Roosters games for as long as I can remember but I wouldnt know how many Ive been too.
Between the age of 0 to 16 whilst under my parents guidance my dad & my pop when he was alive would attend every Roosters game at the Sports ground. 12 homes games for 16 years, we used to attend. Kogarah, Henson, Lidcombe, Leichhardt, Belmore, North Sydney, Penrith & Cumberland as well. I attend around 4 games a year now days mainly because I feel the cold & I miss to much of the action when Im at the game live. Sitting at home drinking the beers puffin the pipe & seeing multiple replays is better for me, plus I can stop the game & watch something again.
I reckon Ive been to at least 500 games over 55 years that averages out to be 9 games a year. How many games do you think youve attended?

I would strongly doubt it- try from 1972 to 2015 - only games missed where Bronco/Cows/Warriors/Storm/Knights/Raiders away games apart from attending a 66-4 loss to the Raiders and 41-6 loss to Newcastle)2001 Final- Bus Trip) - only a few games after that as we moved to a regional area -Southern Highlands - long way to go for 1 game

All grades too when they had the 3 grades on match day as we would be there before the gates opened.

Warren Smith called Suaalli something sounding like "Swahee-ee" the entire game. It must be the way Joseph wants his name pronounced. Like Papali-hi
I just googled the spelling is his surname and it's now written as Joseph Sua'ali'i

Living in the SH is no excuse not to attend footy games. I use to arrive before the gates opened to watch all 3 grades at the SFS too. Always sat Bay 14. I often would jump up on my seat to pump up the crowd. If you sat near there you’d know me.

He was on the news the other night saying he and his family would prefer it be pronounced as Sua ali i.

Yes there was publicity during the week about his name being pronounced differently from this weekend.

We would sit in the grandstand 2nd tier and would be able to see straight down the field unlike the cheaper seats at ground level where if the play was on the other side of the field you only saw the players from the waist up.

Yeh hardly went - we were only regulars for when the Roosters played games at SCG from 1972 to 1986 including finals - NSWRL/Pre-season comps and finals - mmm google it
You really haven’t been to the SCG the last few years have you Queeny? Some supporter you are!

Personally I think the game needs towards a relegation model so that clubs and fans at the bottom of the ladder still have something to play for at the back end of the season because this round of footy just can’t have been enjoyable for anyone buts fans of the clubs winning.
Good idea however there are 2 reasons why I can't see relegation working
                      1. There aren't enough quality players to go around currently. As such those promoted teams would provide even less competition. Think about the poor standards we see in reserves.
                      2. Imagine what would happen if superstar players like Teddy, Latrine, Cleary, Munster etc played for teams that were relegated. I dare say they would terminate contracts and re-sign with the promoted teams or other clubs to remain 1st grade players. Player contracts are a circus as it is

                          • id just like to give a real shout out to robbo , for acknowledging the tigers struggles, in his presser. classy stuff.

As roosters supporters we do not know what it is like to miss the finals 11 years straight, i salute their fans .

also thought tamou was good in his presser, lost his shit , but who wouldnt captaining that rabble, maybe james without a contract in 23 , would he consider a minimum wage rooster deal , could offer something off the bench ?

You went to the cricket. Well done. So did I. There are fans and there are supporters. You Sally, are a fan. Nothing wrong with that though. Using the excuse of the distance between the Southern Highlands and Sydney not to attend games is just pathetic. You could just say that you prefer to watch on TV. Once again, nothing wrong with that. Didn’t you mention you travelled to games? Yet won’t make the short treck from Southern Highlands to support your team? What sort of fan are you? (Assuming you are not elderly or disabled and apologies if you are).
