I just heard from couple of Manly fans today that Stewart was a signed, sealed and delivered deal at the Roosters. This is in line with the fact I read Dragons were talking to Cronk....

So if the Dragons have decided to go for Cronk, it must be to push Hornby back to FB and they must have got a rejection from Brett Stewart. Either coz he has re-signed with Manly or signed elsewhere.

I wont be surprised to see him named as our next signing. Its gathering a fair bit of momentum...

Havent Saints signed Beale from the Broncos? I would have thought that he is playing fullback for Saints next year if he has? I would have also thought that if Cronk is going to leave Melbourne it will be to go home to QLD. TBH I am sick to death of all these rumoured signings for us. Brett Stewart, SBW, Darcy Lussick etc. It does the club no bloody good at all. There is no doubt our team needs a game breaker. At the moment the only one is SKD, but he is hot n cold. Whenever SKD plays well, we usually go well. I just wish the Roosters would put up or shut up. IMO SBW is a game breaker so I hope we sign him. Stewart...well he has killed us every time we have played them so if we sign him he will have my support. If we dont then I wont lose sleep. I would rather throw the cash at the Fish or K Locke tho TBH. They are both gonna be superstars and much younger, or just play the young Kiwi kid we already have. Lussick & Reni Matua? No bloody way to either of them.

We have the basics of a good team. We just need to fix our spine (get a new fullback - his only strength these days is taking the bomb) and add a gamebreaker. Maloney will play 5/8 next year so that is covered (an Braith wont be here)
