Moga was apparently good enough as a 17 year old. He was fit enough to play for Newtown last week. Why are we still unsure of what is going on with him in Round 5?

Isn't it obvious? He was injured. He hadn't played in a month so why debut a kid without match fitness. It's obvious they are preparing him for his debut otherwise he would be playing 20's.

Merritt suffered a toe injury in preseason but was considered a better chance than Inglis to play us in round one. He is still on the sidelines.

Roosters are on channel Speed live. Then on foxsports 2 at 9.30. You want to be at a good bar because there is a union match and two afl games live at the same time as well.

Moga said at the Canberra game he'd be back round 5 so i think he'll come in last minute. Maubs to right 2nd row for Symonds. I think Taka will still keep his spot over Mose. I'd certainly prefer him coming on as lock over Arona though but that is very unlikely.

Gonna try and make all 3 grades this weekend so should have a good idea of the team by 3pm Saturday.

Watched the first half of the storm game again and thought we played very well. If we play like that for most of the game against the Warriors we are a chance. FPN and Kennedy were excellent for the first 20. I think if moga plays and he swaps around with BJ every so often we could be very dangerous of the back of FPN's early offloads and Cordner's good passing game. Cos god knows we can't rely on Anasta to give anyone adequate service. Pearce should be much better having Maubs back on his side as well. One can only hope.

If Morts is only going to play 15-20 as a utility then he is better off playing 80 minutes at Newtown to get some game time and proving he can be a good number 6 alternative. If he is not used as our 80 minutes 5/8 then he is wasting a bench spot. Mitchell has provided a bit of spark from dummy half and has played well for Newtown (except for last week). It's neither here or there with these two. They both offer similar things. Mitchell must have won the coin toss for this week.

I'd have Taka over Symonds at this stage and Tommy seems to be making way for Moga.

I can't see how Mose has earned his spot back. I can only think it is to counter the Warriors big boys. The way he has played this year, he wouldn't be out of place in a Tigers jumper. Very soft.

Bwian just was interviewed on Sports Today, he was very sketchy in reply to when Moga will debut, he mumbled the following;
"He might be ready for first grade in 2 or 3 weeks, we'll see"
