If I'm not mistaken, our man Toops needs just 8 more tries to be the all time Roosters try scorer. It will probably be achieved in 2023, but I'm hoping we can keep winning and that he can get close this year.

When he reaches the mark, it will be a fitting reward for one of our best ever players. I'm still beating myself up for thinking his time was done about 4 years ago (possibly at a time when he was looking a bit disinterested and making lots of mistakes).

My current physio is the Tongan national team physio (also one of the Cowboys team physio's). He knows Toops and SST really well, says they are both absolute champion guys and that when away on tour its nothing for Toops to sleep up to 14hrs a day when not training :-) He is also said that SST would be easily as good as Jason Tamoulolo if not for his dodgy knees.

Regardless of the amount of try’s Toops has scored I credit him as the best winger I’ve seen in the RWB.

Love Toups and beating Mini’s record, another one of favourites will be very well deserved. Daniel is such a humble quiet achiever who has been a very, very loyal Rooster for many years. He could have taken more money to play elsewhere but would never leave his beloved Roosters.
