I am not fussed. Realistically if we can't win one game against a depleted Storm side or the Rabbles we aren't going to win the comp.

Having said that, we have the team that could win the comp. Much like 2018 GF I am scratching my head as to why the Storm are such short-priced favourites against a better forward pack and backline.

Just as likely cows beat souths eels beat broncs and storm beat us. Raiders win this week and next week, broncs win final game and our souths game decides which one of us make the semis...

They are hard to beat down there.

Them, Us and Penrith are best teams in the comp.

Yet here we are in danger of missing the 8 to the rat shit Faiders.

This is the way I see it. Broncos can get the 2 points they need against the merge. Meaning our game against the Vermin will determine whether it’s us or them in the 8.

If we lose two in a row then we aren't one of the best teams.

We have the best forward pack in the comp and a hot backline that is in form. We will beat the Storm

Can't wait to see that forward pack with SST in for May and Collins in for Hutch I suppose. Seems harsh on Hutch but we have to fit those twoboys into the 17 and I think Watson is now doing a really good job at doing what we signed him for.

Robbo seems to like the flexibility of having both Hutch and Watson on the bench. I expect Egan to miss out.

He certainly has some hutch love - but I hope Egan plays - I feel hutch is there in case a half goes down but I would prefer we take that gamble - Watson could play 6 in that case or Manu could and Egan to centre.

Interestingly, sportsbet has us at $8.50 to miss the 8. Seems like overs.

A bit surprising, seeing as we are underdogs against Storm and probably wabbits also.

And Ladbrokes has us at $11.00 for premiership, wabbits are $17.00

I can't see us missing the 8. Win one game of next 2 to guarentee, but we are a top chance of winning both.

If we were that 'fkn good' we wouldn't be in this position!

Yeah the bookies don't have the same paranoia fans like me do.

They just see a star studded team who have hit form at the right time.

Not a betting man but tempting to put a tenner on that one.
