I expect Sam to be the least nervous player on the field in the upcoming big games. I wouldn't be surprised to see him rise to another level.

Those young fellows (Sam & Joseph) are as cool and composed as cucumbers...lots of CC's..may that soon one day be the other CC (Clive Churchill medal winners perhaps? )

Odds are Sam won’t catch Val but stranger things have happened Out of interest has any player ever scored 200 or more points and not ended up the leading point scorer for the season

His percentage would be interesting not including the first few rounds where he seemed to struggle a bit.
Many were worried we would have problems without a specialist goal kicker.

Maybe he will do an Adam Reynolds and kick a heap of goals in the final game to claim first place.

That goal at Suncorp was the turning point.

He wasn't the only one don't worry. The AK fan club was out in force during this period

The Suncorp goal was indeed a turning point. From memory it came after some sessions with Dad and Uncle whilst up there for magic round. How good was last Saturday night? Both sides of the field and they weren’t all gimmes. Bring it on. Bring it on.

Practice makes perfect. I used to play netball and was goalie. Dad put a hoop up in the backyard for me and I learned to shoot from wherever the ball landed in the backyard. We won 10-nil once because of that as I learned to shoot with the glaring sun in my eyes and not let it faze me.

But Sam has that natural ability also. Brett Kenny had it in spades and so does Jimmy Maloney..they just walk out and make it look so easy..but we all know it/'s a pressure cooker out there..
