Unfortunatly he has a contract but if we are cellar dwelers mid comp Uncle Nick might consider giving him the flick who knows.Smith was brought in to change the culture at the club and to a certain extent he has done that.But we need to win football games Eastern Suburbs has a proud history and copping beltings dosnt sit well with any of us. Smith has at his disposal a good roster of players but persists week after week picking sides that in my opinion are nowhere near the best side we can run on to the park.No disrespect to Mini and Anasta but they have both seen better days and should be at Newtown.Justin Carney,Arona,Mose havnt performed well so far.Then we have other players playing out of position re Maubs and BJ.Thats why i reckon smiths a dud coach.I have no idea where hes going with this football team and the scary thing is i dont think he has either.

give him a contract extension.

he has a plan to re-build our club that will take time, it doesnt matter that his plan will take longer than it took the egyptians to build the pyramids. we need to stick solid to him. the players love him, they will do anything for him. he is the one to take us forward to the long term.

class players will come to our club to be coached by him.

be positive guys and girls.

money is a big factor.

if he is sacked then he will need to be paid out his whole contract usually.

paying out almost 2 full years of his contract is a mountain of money considering the huge salary that he is on.

but as the year drags on and gets closer to the end of the year where he will only have 1 year left, it will seem easier to the powers that be from a financial side of things to sack him

Let him finish his 4 years.He has always been good at bringing through young players and we have plenty of those.With the players we have coming next year I think we should be good.This was always going to be a work in progress.

It depends on if he has the power to drop Braith and Mini, if he is being over ridden by the board then our onfield performances can be squarely blamed at the board. If he has had the power all along then i feel its time to go coach shopping at the earliest convienience.

There's no option: Slap him across the face for not picking Daniel Mortimer at 5/8th.
