  • The fine line between genius and lunacy

    Is currently one win......

We win tomorrow night and I think we are a real red hope chance of winning the whole damn thing. Lose and we might be gone the week after. I'm sure Robbo would love to have the games v Dragons and Bulldogs over again, but it is was it is.

I've never been so excited but so nervous at the same time. Go the chooks!

I think he/we thrives on this.

I have a weird feeling about it all coming together. Suallii and Lodge.

It's weird hey? Feels like we'll either come 5th/6th or 9th... but not 8th. Massive sigh!

I really do hope we school the Drizz / Souffs.

        And the games against the Knights, Raiders plus late losses to Melbourne and Penrith. Win 4 of those 6 and we are well set in the top 4. Instead we have a massive challenge;
storm in Melbourne who have beaten us 5 times in a row. Our last win was the 2019 prelim. Then souffs who have beaten us 4 times in a row with the last win in early 2020.

I am so sick of losing to these two teams. We are due and this is our time - 2 from 2.
        GO EASTS

i can live with losing to penrith, melba and even the raiders, but losses to knights and dogs inexcusable.

These next two games should be treated as Grand Finals. What have we got to lose?

This team must play finals footy.

            I can't cop the alternative.

Give it everything you have Roosters.

Just win one of those games and it's a different situation. I'm really confident we will beat the Storm, but if we happen to lose.....gee it becomes a real 50/50 situation

For sure. No coincidence that we started to gel once Keary was put back where he belongs and Sam was moved to the position he excelled in last season.

I got into my keep calm and follow Easts feeling last Sunday when I got back from my walk. Like I've said previously, I normally don't watch our Melbourne or Souths games live on TV ( my neighbour across the hallway does enough yelling and swearing with his mates for me to recognise if times are good or bad, happy or sad to quote Tina Turner ) but I feel really excited about these 2 upcoming games and am looking forward to watching both..no hiding under the blankets or pretending to watch soap operas...

I don't do nerves so will stay calm for the rest of us...I only changed my avatar because of the 2013 grand final 10 year anniversary next year..but my philosophy stands...Keep Calm and Follow Easts..

Apparently that was the brain child of Cronk.

The Anzac Day game killed me the most, dragons offered nothing and still beat us.

I disagree. If we don't make the 8 we were never going to be good enough to win the comp anyway.

There was a time when Robbo was chasing minor premierships. I prefer the more mature version of Robbo whose sole focus is premierships.

i'd only regret losses v weaker teams if we don't make the 8. we're the form team and should make the 8 and we're in a good spot. there's no guarantee we'd be playing better now if we beat those weaker teams. perhaps we learnt important lessons from those losses and the experience helped us to be firing at the right time of the year
