  • Robinson said he’s concerned about Daniel Tupou’s groin injury.

For a groin strain best case scenario would be a grade 1 which would have him back 2nd week of the finals.

    Grade 1: 1-3wks Grade 2: 3-6wks Grade 3: 6+wks

I seem to remember Tupou’s only real injury previously being a groin strain as well, I remember he came back and we thought he did it again but only tore the scar tissue. Am I remembering that correctly?

Every conceivable chance for Storm to win that game but our defence and intensity was too good. They had so many opportunities in that last quarter of the game.

Very heartening to see Vic back on the field post match celebrating, should be sweet as a nut for next week hopefully. He was great tonight.

Big thumbs down to the commentators both channels tonight...was a real pro Storm push. Obvious on 9 with Smith and Slater, but on Fox that useless Dan Ginnane was so obviously riding the Storm home. Alexander at least consistent, just don't like us. Even Cronk was more pro Storm very strangely.

      We'll beat Souths next week...confident.
Tallis was the worst of them, post game.

Not his only injury but yes he has had groin issues before.

we need rads in the finals, without teddy, keary, rads, lodge verrills and jwh we dont win a finals game.

yes that means wecan win finals without tups, suaali, manu, walker, collins, sst, crichton.

butcher may also be a must have to win, he is that important.

hope this one doesnt bite me .

          • Best win in 3 years. Our goal line defence was best it's been in 3 years too. Massive pressure off for next week.
Losing Toups was huge. We win by 20+ if he doesn't get injured. We were so far on top of them before his injury.
I fear he won't play again until GF if that. Looked bad. No idea who plays wing.
I think we still beat Souths without Toups, Rads, JWH and Collins. Hopefully they lose tomorrow and shit their pants for next week.

                • Would Robbo bring back Momo on the wing? Might be the best of a bad bunch. Could Carr be a chance?

                    • Gildart in at centre and Manu out to the wing where he can roam and also be a danger on kick returns?

                      • Geez, a lot to take away from that game.
Phenomenal effort, especially considering we lost an outside back early. Actually just about the hardest player for us to replace at that time.
The defense in the last 15-minutes was '18, '19-esque
                        Munster is filthy
Collins is a player who gets significantly better when he is able to find his groove and play several games in a row. That's when he stops dropping the ball all the time. Real shame if he is suspended, because he is a weapon.

I just hope that wasn't our grand final/took too much out of us. Fingers crossed we can finish 5th and play the Broncos or the Raiders week 1 of the finals. That would be a huge benefit.

As I think we all know; no-one in the comp can hold our forward pack. The Storm were trapped for most of the game, and only got out of their end via penalties or spreading it in their own half.
Spreading it shouldn't normally work, however we had Crichton and Hutch playing in the centres. The penalties we just have to be more careful about. We will bury the Storm and Bunnies in the finals if we stop giving them get out of jail free cards via penalties.

It actual does as it is one of the major signs of a post traumatic tremor - i.e potential brain damage - 6 day turn around in any case so he will be missing next week at least

In 2017 Toops did his groin as well and missed six weeks - Robbo put him on the bench for the finals series - 1st week and prelim final - no way was he fit to play though.

Be interesting to see if Robbo sticks with Hutch in the Centres - Obviously Momirovski and Gildart would be considered
