He has had groin issues throughout his career unfortunately
I'm pretty sure Matt Parsons from Newcastle always had issues with his lower limbs. Being unnecessarily tall leads to problems like that.

Gee may as well have said, 'the next melee one of you Roosters will be sitting down'.

NAS gets pinged for 1 forearm to the chest/throat of Sua'ali'i and they let go at least 4 others from him alone not to mention those 2 other p*icks Munster and Kafusi.
Oh golly yes..JWH set the ferocious tone from kickoff and the whole team stepped up! And to think I was worried about the younger players like Sam being down in that awful cauldron of a stadium with their feral fans..when I went there in 2012, they stuck us all up in the nosebleed section....was so happy to see Sam bang so many goals over...

I'm only 23 minutes in watching it on 9NOW and up to the sin binning..just paused it to reply to some messages..does anyone else have cravings for Violet Crumbles? It's the way they shatter that matters....as the ad used to say... I always think of them when I see the Storm lose..

JWH is a great player but we need him to play, not get suspended, especially during the finals. Collins now is gone after just returning, and JWH is next if he doesn’t control his emotions. Be tough by all means but not stupid. Now we’ve lost Collins for the finals. Makes my blood boil that we just can’t do the right thing and continually, one way or another, find a way to shoot ourselves in the foot.

Agreed but too much aggro can mean a suspension/sin bin. Do we all really want that? A try was scored while we had 12 men because Jarrad couldn’t control his emotions. I don’t see how that helps the team. Same as Collins getting suspended for 4 weeks going into the finals. How does that help the team.?

Everyone who watched the game loved it, the media are loving it, the aggression and physicality, Jared taking on Niggling Nelson was at the heart of the spectacle. Do the refs know its not touch footy , the bin was a farce .

His instructions backfired.. and it ended up being Nelson, KBromwich, Munster, the guys he sent out to bait Rads JWH and Lodge.. who were rattled. Sucked in.

Teddy, I was only thinking that today when I remembered my brother in law visiting Nathan Cayless in the dressing room in 2009 when they tore his pectoral and he couldn't play in the grand final. He said the vistors' dressing room was so many degrees colder than the Storm's as he was taken as a guest into their dressing room also. Dirty tricks like that should have gone out in the 1970's like when Easts cottoned on to the fact that the Magpies had bugged the visitors' dressing room so the team got dressed at Kevin Hastings house I think and ran out onto Lidcombe Oval from the back of a borrowed furniture truck..

In contrast, my brother in law also said that the Cowboys are the most hospitable and welcoming to all the opposition teams visiting Townsville as his late uncle was a founding member of the Eels and when the Cowboys first formed, the city was thrilled when all the big name Sydney teams starting going up there to visit. A friend from school's little brother played for them too.

From what I've heard most Sydney teams enjoyed the post game after parties in the Townsville nightclubs more than they did the guest dressing rooms

if he wasn't we wouldn't be playing semi final football

Funny I'd said to someone today who got a new job how far we'd both come since we were made redundant from our old jobs...mine was due to Covid too..and then something better came along..
