But really, it's no more biased and full of misinformation than anything else served up by the SMH and ABC. Or "The Guardian".#We Stand with ourJewish community#

The external draft is untested court wise - AFL has an external draft - 18 year old's (new nominees)/ players not contracted and de-listed players.
US Sports have external drafts - new nominees - for an example 16 year old's are eligible to be placed in a draft Pool to be drafted by MLB clubs.
US sports use a trade system as well which has been talked about in the NRL - some examples of where this happened was the Grant and Momirovski trade - Grant going to the Tigers from the Storm and Momirovski going to the Storm from the Tigers - also used in the NRL is the Overseas football loan system
I would assume the NRL are looking at an NRL External Draft plus a permanent Trade window and Loan Systems as these are somewhat ad hoc arrangements currently.

[QUOTE=player 1; Cause that's what lefties do - blame anyone more successful than them and demand "equity". Simple. Costello may part own the SMH, who cares. He's happy for the morons who "write" for it to tell life's sore losers what they want to hear and take their money.
What rubbish and all off the top of your head. Costello, perhaps the worst Treasurer we've ever had, doesn't "part own", a consortium of the Bid End does. He's chairman of the board, the same Board that hosted a Lib fundraiser at the Sydney studios before the 2019 election and copped heaps for so doing.
If truth be known the Losers vote Tory as you'd expect - a few weeks ago I posted Electoral Commission results which indicate that the Conservatives hold all 10 of the poorest electorates as well as the 10 lowest education postcodes.
By the way, nothing wrong with equity - another name for fairness. Do us a favour Player, stick with football and ditch the political, News Ltd. misinformation.

[QUOTE=Jacks Fur Coat; Lefties losin it....nothing sweeter.
Not losin' it just puttin' the facts. Younger members hear/read Player's silly stuff and yours Jax and, maybe, believe it. it's the Allen Jones tactic - keep repeating the lie.
"Up ya nose....", "Get fcuked!" - they're the responses of a D-o-p-e with a Capital "D".

I'm sick of the media continually stating lies and getting away with it......let's get them to correct this in the same paper this knob writes for on Saturday.

I'm not defending the article, it's superficial rubbish - again the facts are important. But it's a "knock off soon gotta get this typed". It's flimsy and not worth the attention it's getting.
Knox is a Rugga man as I read him and that's where the bias, if there is any, lays - the Union reports are far more thought about and there's often the hint of a snooty attitude when League's the subject.
That said, some contributors are trying to conflate Knox and The Bandanna and that's wide of the mark. I find Peter's RL comments fair and thoughtful but he doesn't write for mugs. The SMH has a well educated readership - they're the Teals and, though declining in numbers as the paper becomes more Right Wing, they are still the core. They don't wish to read cliched junk.
