Joey (if he knows anything) said that a groin tear is ~6 weeks minimum based on his experience.

I hope that this win gives us a 1 week buffer for a few players to return for the finals. Better than putting everything into that Souffs game as if it's round 1 of the finals.

One thing is for certain -- we never have any luck.

Not enough footage of him out there to answer those questions, but we may not have much of a choice because we don't have any other back up genuine wingers to utilise.

The cameras after the game had him walking around in his football gear and he didn't appear dejected or anything, be shocked if it isn't something that can heal up in 2-3 weeks.

I hope that it is a severe strain and that it's not a tear because a strain can be managed with a few weeks off with rehab and rest. A full tear is the season done.

I know its early, but anyone heard anything more about Toops? I've seen no mention of his injury in the media this morning. They've been focused on Rads and the suspensions only

Bondi Boy said to just throw SST on to the wing....you need big wingers and centres

Like Bansai said, he's irreplaceable. Even Tedesco can be replaced if needed, by Manu. And we might not lose too much. No-one can replace Toups.

Really hope Toops can play some part in the finals series. Will miss him big time if he can't.

Surely Momo has to replace Hutcho come finals & Gilldart or Kevin.N on the wing which is worrying.

Would be handy to have Breakdown Billy Smith right now.

No Word as yest although i assume he would have gone for scans.

Tom Carr was back today for the Bears - 195 cm and 98 kg winger - is on the extended bench - be a left field option though having not played NRL at all

Only this in the HearldSun yesterday afternoon

“NSW Origin winger Daniel Tupou is also in danger of missing the Rabbitohs clash, as well as week one of the finals, due to a groin injury.”

However no source or direct quotes from anyone at the club.
