Tupou's game isn't built on pure speed. Its his work ethic doing the tough carries, his ability in the air and his general positional play. He could play for quite a few years yet

Toops looks like he could play 1st grade for another 5 or 6 years.

Young would be the perfect replacement for Suaalii's move into the centres.

I would extend Toops for at least one or two more years if 1. It's minimal money and 2. He's still fit.


Next year he'll be 32 years of age. Toops could easily play till 34 with no issues (just how the Morris brothers played and retired at 35 for example).
