Tedesco and N Bucther's tackle as well - I thought the Storm player was going to score for sure and even Collins getting back to knock the ball dead from the Hughes kick in goal.

Walkers defence-and goal kicking- have been a highlight in 2022. His whole game has matured. Id love to see him run more- seems to have a magnificent step

Are we talking about the tackle on Munster?
That was nothing compared to Walker's tackle on our tryline, against a rampaging Leilua, in the Cowboys game.
He cut Leilua down in full flight , and saved a certain try. .
Walker's defence, like the goalkicking, has improved out of sight.
I am really starting to warm to him.

Lovely legs grassing tackle. Shows he's using his footy smarts to strengthen his defense, he went high on an effective tackle on the muntz bully too which paid off.

Good decision making as he can't stand toe to toe with every big forward like Jared can.

Lol that hit up by the munted one and the ensuing tackle that sent JWH to the bin reminded me of the klemmer tackle back in 2013 where he goosestepped into our defensive line and got smashed.

Same except this one had mad intent and the big girl still got flogged.

Then laying on the deck holding his face in the fetal position.

            Gold.

I always say look at Cleary at 19. He was just catching and passing. Walker will be a great

He was immense last night. Quickly becoming one of our favourite players in our house at the moment.

Loving Sammy’s Johnny Mayes style of tackling.

Our goal line defence was hectic. While those short kick-offs didn't go our way, I LOVED the confidence and was like 'IT'S ON!!! WE ARE BACKING OUR DEFENCE IF IT FAILS!!!'

So many crazy try-saving tackles while the Drizz got away with bullshyte (particularly Munster + NAS) and the refs gave awarded at least 3 incorrect calls against us based on challenges.

Tallis reckons we got lucky. Not sure how losing a gun winger, having a bollocks sin-bin to level-up the game (while NAS got nothing), having a rep prop penalised + 'on report' when there was no 'hip drop' at all and having Munster get away with elbowing Walker after a tackle is 'lucky'. They were the favourites and we outplayed them.

                        - Ref's a cheating farking incompetent, cheating b@stard (Gee is the most junior and I don't even know how he got the job).

                        - Tallis is a jealous b@stard coz his team got pumped.

                        - Billy Slater's hilarious as he's a cocky b@stard when he thinks the Drizz are gonna win, then goes missing in the commentary box when he knows he's gonna lose. To me that was probably the most telling sign. When Slater went quiet with ~15 to go, I knew we'd won.

Walker's tackle on kbrom was superb technique and at such a crucial time of the game. Very very well done to him and the whole team.

Oh, and get fcuked gronko talass (wrong spelling intentional).

Walker’s tackle on K Bromwich was massive and crucial in the context of the game

                            Well done young fella
