I think the concern is that he spoke directly to a footy club to give them the heads up that it would be approved before their game on the weekend.

Given the sensitivity around betting and match fixing it’s behaviour more aligned with underworld figures than prime ministers.

albo might have a problem with this. wait to see whether the reporting is accurate but if it is it's (minor) corruption. would he have given the roosters the heads up if we had a player in the same boat? if he wanted to do something he should have kept his mouth shut on saturday night and then told the press on sunday that national cabinet is considering changing the isolation time. that way the info would be available to everyone and souths could have put 2 and 2 together
