I would have Sam Perrett, but for some reason everyone is adverse to a winger being captain.
So in light of that, i would have Maubs with kennedy as VC, but if he stays, JWH may be a roughie for the role.

I like Maubs as a player but I think he would be a shocking choice as captain. You need someone who is going to get in the faces of the refs and tell them whats what, especially when your the roosters captain given all the crap calls we cop. Also, the guy doesn't come across well in media conferences.
My first choice would be Maloney, but that might not go down too well with the existing players. After that I would go with Martin Kennedy.
