I mentioned the other day about how back in the 1970's Easts ran out onto Lidcombe Oval from the back of a borrowed furniture truck as they were convinced the visitors' dressing room was bugged. They got dressed at Kevin Hasting's house....I read that in a book somewhere..I wonder if anyone from here was present that day..

The ones I recognised throughout the HM season… Mitchell, Fiedel, De lisle, Roberts, Stevenson-Hala, Va’a & a couple more I think…

Brynn Siltila and Kade Maguire were also in the Matts squad this year, I grew up with both their dads at Bronte back in the 80's.
