Good news mate i know we will have to probably pay a million a season to joey but 2 mill puts us out of the race.

Australian Rugby has said that the story is false but haven't denied showing interest. It sounds like some halfwit in the league media or perhaps someone from a rival club (cough ... Souffs ... cough) has started this rumour and is looking to cause a rift between Suaalii and the Roosters. This just appears to be a story to cause disruption and rock the boat.

Yeah yeah ... where there is smoke there is fire but whatever ... if Union do have the money (contract) then come out and show us your cards. Go on ... flex !

      I call BS !

        Nothing is guaranteed in footy.
The $10m is guaranteed, no matter if he suffers a career-ending injury?
If so, he really has to take the $10m, doesn't he?

Absolutely not 2 million a year on offer, would be about 500k plus incentives for making rep sides, etc.... perhaps 750k to start?

            Not enough.
He's better staying in the NRL with the Roosters.

Money is not going to be a problem.
Depends on what he wants to do.
Does he want to travel the world & be known overseas or does he want to be near his family & living a top
life in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney having the opportunity to bed heaps of Bondi babes.

Australian Rugby had to take out a loan not long ago just to stay afloat and now they are supposedly offering huge money for one player, the math doesn't add up.

Rugby is as dead as a door nail in Australia, he'd be going from being one of the brightest young stars in the biggest sport in this state, to a sport that very few people in the state have the slightest interest in.

No way he'll go to Rugby.
He'll only make squillions if he doesn't get injured.

Yes. It only makes sense from the perspective of Isaac Moses playing his usual games.

Suaalii would have known Uncle Nick doesn't suffer that fool Moses. I am now expecting him to leave regardless of the fake $2m offer.

$10m less tax, would set him up for life.
Nice house, nice cars for a lifetime, rental properties earning income interstate in a cheaper market.
He could have an easy life.
                        Money buys an easy life.
You still have to work at something, but you never have to clean public toilets..or be bullied and harassed in the workplace.
Like someone here said earlier in the thread, he could come back to the NRL at age 24.
He'd be wise to make sure any $10m contract was airtight, watertight, and every other tight...the money absolutely guaranteed.
A huuuge RU forward or 3 could squash him in a tackle in the first game.

                          Yes, maybe only $9.83m.
He's a star already, model looks, they'd easily get their money back and then some.
                          Sponsors would be rolling in.
Union needs a revamp...first thing, they should lose 2 men a side, too many players on the field.

he's a leaguie, he loves the roosters he's happy with us and there's a clear path for him to become a well paid superstar in league. there's a good case for him to stay

Plenty of golfers regarding the Saudi tour and all its billions are proving your "anyone who says they wouldn't take the extra money is lying " mantra to be nonsense.
