We're done and dusted. So dumb to play all their stars.
Talk of a must win game to get a home final in a brand new stadium which gives no huge advantage is ridiculous.

Where’s all this negativity coming from? South’s have nothing to fear and we get Suaalii, Radley and hopefully Tupou back obviously Manu is a big loss if he’s out but we aren’t a one man team and will only be missing 2 players hopefully and even without Manu our finals draw is good enough that we can still make the preliminary final without Manu

So more caution should of been given to Manu tonight especially if the calf tightness rumours during the week are true.

Great opening night to christen the new digs, first the girls then the lads with two pretty dominant wins, considering available personnel.
We just seemed to want it a bit more tonight, and tactically Robbo won the tricks. Two tough and physical for them and won the ruck all night.
Keary, Teddy, Angus, Lodge all very good. Special mention to Naiqama who I thought didn't have it in him, he was terrific on the carts out of trouble, played smart.
Great tactics to kick to Lattrell and wear him out. Other teams dodge him and keep him fresh. He really had a shocker on top of a bit of pressure and physicality back at him.
Thumbs up to the digs....could get a drink and food ok despite close to 42,000 attending. Proper beer too. The old SFS basically with a decent spruce up. So close to the action in the bottom tiers. The management handled tonight's event really well. More of the same.
We might have just wrested back our psychological advantage over Souths....bring on next week when we send em packin.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

I agree with those in this thread (I only read back as far as page 9) that said the second half felt like it took an eternity. The vermin won the second half and it showed. Lodge looked absolutely exhausted in the first half and seemed less effective in the second. Perhaps he was missing JWH.
Next week will be tougher I think."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."
