Oh have you not met this place after a long wished for win over the Vermin? First in how many years now?

Some don't realise the psychological edge we now hold over them..that's worth another 10 points right there..

Magnificently thank you. That was the first time I'd watch us play them live on TV since 2014. Normally I wait for the next day if we win..that's how much I despise them but I didn't want to miss the fanfare of all the grand opening. I think I actually enjoyed channel 9 last night..apart from the bits with JT.

We just seemed to want it a bit more tonight, and tactically Robbo won the tricks. Two tough and physical for them and won the ruck all night.

Keary, Teddy, Angus, Lodge all very good. Special mention to Naiqama who I thought didn't have it in him, he was terrific on the carts out of trouble, played smart.

Great tactics to kick to Lattrell and wear him out. Other teams dodge him and keep him fresh. He really had a shocker on top of a bit of pressure and physicality back at him.

Thumbs up to the digs....could get a drink and food ok despite close to 42,000 attending. Proper beer too. The old SFS basically with a decent spruce up. So close to the action in the bottom tiers. The management handled tonight's event really well. More of the same.

We might have just wrested back our psychological advantage over Souths....bring on next week when we send em packin.
LOL...I just posted that somewhere myself about the psychological advantage..great minds...glad you enjoyed the first game there Jack..and everyone else who went out there..it looked amazing and I'm happy for you all.

Psychological edge goes out the window when you lose crucial players to injury & have a weaker team. Still go the Chooks!

See, I don't see a change in playing personnel as a weakness for the Roosters. Other clubs maybe, but we are excellent at succession planning. Trent is a master at it, hence all these back up mid season signings like Lodge and Gildart. Like having the understudies in the theatre..the show must go on! Hang in there buddy...oh I bought some eggs yesterday for the first time in 3 months..it wasn't the price that put me off..just didn't feel like them..

            • How good is the Lodge signing, just perfect. With Lodge, JWH & SST, Angus, Rads + the Butchers we have the best pack in the 8 & will give this comp a shake...barring injury.

              • I was there last night and the noise was immense pre game. The noise we made on Latrell showed how the crowd was made up.

did none catch his interaction with our staff on field after the game? I thought I saw TRobbo talking to home and MAubs and Latrell embraced.

Next week there will be different.as someone pointed out. Don’t forget the NRL run the finals. I remember the game against the Faiders in 2020 - I think the horn was there.

Lastly agree with a lot of the comments here. Mummers, May, Watson had great games on top of those who have been playing great for a few weeks now.

Bring it on, bring it on.

Have my own chooks & fresh organic eggs, nothing better. My girls free range all day. My Rooster (Romeo) keeps the order.

                    • if canberra make the 8 they'd have a good argument to be playing on sunday to give every team a 7 day turnaround

But what's done is done, now.
                        No.
We had to win our first game at the new stadium...to own it...stamp it as our cauldron.
                        To lose was 'unthinkable'.
                        The atmosphere was electric.
The crowd cheering loudly every point the girls scored.
Zehara Temara kicking goals from everywhere.
                        The girls were brilliant.
Then the boys game, the crowd screaming with pure delight as we ran over the rabbits.
It was the red white and blue show.
                        Magic.

                          1. Ditch that horrible camera from behind the play. They missed Teddy's try while wanking around with that stupid angle.

                          2. Why all the constant close ups of Mitchell's ugly face? Does anyone need that? They don't do it with Tedesco or Keary or Murray or Johnston. Only Mitchell. It's unsightly.
Agree totally. 1 This new angle from behind is really disorientating. 2 If they insist on show Mitchells mug the program should be rated M15+ (Horror themes and violence)

                          • Latrell ran for 100 mtrs last night.
He loves the fullback money but not the fullback

The footy Gods have cruelled us again.

Robbed us of a Premiership run.
Stay positive Tommy - you've been leading the charge this last 8 weeks. We won prelim in 18 with our star centre out and a young rookie in his place.

Teddys by far our best player
