They will send reinforcements next week however.

In reality, we were never going to win the comp this year anyway ...but we sure opened the new stadium with the bang it deserved.

I actually don't mind SST starting at lock. Gives us 3 metre eaters to start the game.

Might be an option next week even if Radley is back.

Radley might come out all guns blazing and knock himself out again.

Yes, big is better.
We play well with SST at lock.
Rads could mark Johnston on the wing...or come off the bench as a strike weapon...in the forwards or backs.

My Rooster (Romeo) keeps the order.

I understand the humorous suggestion of Romeo cavorting with young chicks (Juliet is 13 in the play), but the last thing that I would consider a rooster to be is a passionate male lover. Roosters are straight up killing machines. I'm certainly not having a go at you or Romeo, it's just that every time I witness a rooster mating it looks and sounds as though they are killing the hen. Great to see another chook-keeper on the Chook Pen.

amazing stadium and atmosphere last night. Felt like the roosters fans were outnumbering the other team. There was Easts chants everywhere and I can hardly hear anything from souffs fans

They've got a [shoulda] retired Hollywood actor, a dude who just sold a casino that has daddy bought him and a guy who's worth billions in unsold stock running the show.

Tragic as it may sound, they could buy a $1b stadium at Redfern and host free games + alcohol for the next 1000 years if they wanted to.

It's a cultural thing though. Souffs are taught that when times are tough... you lie down, hold your face, feign serious injury and cry the victim. Phone chucker'z an 'actor' so I get that. However IMO this is probably more Packer's influence as that's the story of his life. Inherit billions, snort it all up his nose so that he can feel happy/successful, give most of it to Russian hookers (aka 'girlfriends') and then play the victim when regulators tell him he's completely mismanaged his money/businesses to the point where he HAS to sell as he's no longer deemed competent to operate it.

He was actually sent off for an incident where he was concussed before that Watson tackle. They didn’t show a replay but seems like he may have been feeling the after effects.

Special mention for Sammy Walker in his second season in top grade as the likely second highest point scorer for season 2022.

It may not happen again but I thought we looked awesome with JWH, Lodge, and SST on the field at the same time. It would be an option for SST to start at lock and shift to prop at first bench rotation.

Just watched the replay did anyone else hear Sammy Walker shouting quick tap, quick tap on a penalty we got, 10metres out from our own line with 5mins left to play?

The kid is just impulse and energy every minute of play. Teddy shouting at him to shut up as if we was a 10yr old on a sugar rush.
