Should Manu be out for the remainder, it’s undoubtedly a massive loss.
It’s next man up.
We are not a one man team.
Walker, Keary, Teddy, Suallii, JWH, Lodge and the rest will still be taking the field.
Robbo’s press conferences are scary right now. No bullshit Coach whisperer level.
We are dialled in to destroy all comers.
That is the Rooster’s Style.
We need to ride the positivity and channel that energy, rather than worry about who's missing. All teams will have absentees.
Except Penrith....and the Eels might just knock them into an elimination final next week.

Just have to worry about the game coming up. Sudden death footy has been happening for the last 8 weeks for the Chooks so they just have to do the same thing & hopefully its 9 wins in a row.

I think we still have enough quality to win the comp. It's a matter of who's in - not who's out. Lodge, JWH, Keary, Teddy, Radley, Tauks, Verrills, Suaalii, Crichton, Walker etc. That's an obscene group of players, and there are more worth mentioning.
Winning against a full-strength Panthers side would be bloody difficult, but we went down to the wire with them last time, and we were in worse form and still down a solid amount of players.
One week at a time still, and fingers crossed for no further complications. Having Toops back would also be a major lift.
I still maintain that no team would be thrilled with playing us.

I’m proud of our year but I expect us not to go much farther due to injuries and I think we wrongfully put all our cards into our last game and played our grand final. I believe the main reason we didn’t make the top four is because of the switching of the halves. It was an unnecessary experiment which I believe has cost us our season. Can we beat South’s twice? With Toops, Manu, Collins out definitely not. But I hope I’m wrong. Manu and JWH should have been rested for the dead rubber. What might turn out to be a major tactical error in my opinion.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

We can definitely beat them again - comparatively we will be stronger this week than we were last week as we get Victor and Sua'ali'i back and Jared the whole game rather than a half. We may even get toops back, the club has been very quiet about him - I'm hoping that's a positive. We will see on Tuesday I guess. We can definitely beat them. Our forward pack is unbelievable.Last edited by The Lip; 09-04-2022, 06:40 PM.

hey everybody, we could've rested manu, keary , walker, jwh, sst, lodge , teddy and won on friday .
then still lost this coming sunday .
panfas rested everyone last night and lost. and still can lose on friday against eels, then be bounced out the next week .
robbo, took precautionary measure manu's injury was simply unfortunate , but he had been fine before then and any weakness in his calf , wouldnt have been much better next week regardless.

it would be a bigger gamble risking losing our winning momentum and form when facing nothing but sudden death footy for the rest of the year.
panthers will be fresh and have a second bite of the cherry if things don't go to planLast edited by Bondicigar; 09-04-2022, 08:44 PM.

those who are saying manu should have been rested, are kidding themselves.
if we have made any mistakes through the season it was the knights and dogs losses, not resting manu in round 25.
