Surely Murray doesnt play given an independant doctor will make the call. Murray was quick to say after the game "I wasnt knocked out so I should be fine" I guess trying to smother any seriousness. But given his other knockouts this year, and last friday when he took the knock, when he tried to get up he stumbled and fell flat on his face ..it was not a good look. Would be very surprised to see a Dr give him the all clear for this weekend.

It would make a mockery of the protocols.
What Dr would want that potential liability on their books going fwd, re PI insurance.
It would also be used as evidence when a player sues their club and the NRL for negligence in the coming years, and it will happen sooner vs later.

This was in the Daily Telegraph with a video of Toops going through a light drill.

Sydney Roosters winger Daniel Tupou has been put through his paces at training on Monday under the watchful eye of medical staff as he pushes for a return from a groin injury in week one of the finals.

The giant winger went through a series of short running drills, testing out his injury at Moore Park (video above).

Tupou missed last week’s win over South Sydney and is racing the clock to be fit for Sunday’s second elimination final against the Rabbitohs at Allianz Stadium.

It would be a huge boost for the Roosters after losing centre Joey Manu to a calf injury in the victory over Souths last Friday.

The most important player for the Chooks is JWH.
Does anyone know how his hamstring is recovering?
Lodge & SST are next most important to play then the spine.
I would think Suaalii will stay on the wing with Hutch & Momo in the centre’s. I think Naiqama will play in Toups position because I don’t think Toups will play.

JWH is the guy that the opposition fear the most and the rest of our pack feed off him and is a must if we are to win.
Latrell always looks like he is a bit toey of him.
I'm with you on the rest of your selections, it would be a quick recovery for Toups to overcome a groin in a couple of weeks.
