No surprise to see Murray named.

Keighran being named on the bench could also be a precautionary move if Hutch or Watson needs to move to hooker if Verrills can't play.

Reality is there are 5 guys (Radley/Toups/Suaalii/JWH/Verrills) that aren't yet 100% confirmed starters for the game and there may or may not be some serious shuffling required if some of them can't play.

Good to see all of our players are back, probably the best case scenario with Manu 100% out. I trust Hutchison but I hope he's up for it, ultimately he is a 5/8 playing out of position...

Gee I hope we beat these pretenders on Sunday!

            No surprise to me either.
Its only important to Souffs that they win on Sunday.
Have you ever noticed Murray in the pressers?
He already looks half- stunned, anyway.
It won't matter to them that Murray is a vegetable at age 35.

ak played well in the bears game last week. a true leader. i saw the list and thought he would come on if Hutcho was called infield to fill the 13 or 9. But yeh if 2poo isnt there its a whole different world for us.

I agree that Kieghran is most likely there for coverage for Tupou but I also think/hope that he is there as coverage for Verrills.

He would go to left centre so Hutchinson (& not Watson) played hooker if anything happened to Verrills (fingers crossed it doesn’t).

If Toups is looking the goods by then my guess is they will push out Kieghran and in comes Terrel May - I hope. Not that I don't want AK to get a run I just don't like backs in the interchange in big games like this where you win the game on the back of the forwards creating momentum and space for the spine who then create tries for the outside backs and backrowers
I dont think AK is there for Toups. I think he's there for Verrills. Dislocated finger and a supposed knuckle issue may mean later on in the game he will be struggling.

wouldn't be surprised if lodge replaces tauks in the starting side but tauks is playing great. toops probably has a few hurdles to clear and i wouldn't have a problem with resting him if it means he'd be more chance of playing without risk the following week but if he does play then that's huge and makes the loss of joey not such a problem.
souths will be better than last week but we've got this

                      You're spot on.

The duty of care of club shows to our players are chalk and cheese to Souths. It isn't about the NRL protocols. It's about the care and responsibility the club has towards the long-term health of their players.

murray might well play but i don't think he's seen the independent expert yet. i'm not hoping that he's ruled out if only cos what i hope doesn't matter but if he is out then souths are no chance

I reckon May will come in for Keighran if the starting centres and wingers are OK.

Strong team, especially the bench. Hutch in the centres the weakest link but I've said enough about that.

No excuses....we should be too good.

We are the team that every other finalist is watching and hoping to dodge.
