all but wraps up the minor premiership and that's something to celebrate.
knights never gave up and could easily have won it and will be better with upton but you figure if we're on our game we've got them covered

A lot to work on Coach Strange would not be happy with that performance and I dare say the players either- Left points out there in the first half which could have cost them the game.

Next game vs Titans will another tough game as they are still in the race for 4th spot along with Broncos and Eels who play each other - Broncos 4th on 2 points ( minus 21) / Titans 5th on 2 points ( minus 34) and Eels 6th on 0 points ( minus 32) .

Will players be rested ? - Finals series first week is 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 and the two winners then advance to the GF

          Brief tats- 1st Half- Roosters 12 - Knights 0

          Possession - Roosters 58% - Knights 42%
          Set Completions - Roosters 68% (13/19) - Knights 53% ( 7/13)
          Line Breaks - Roosters 6 - Knights 0
Play the ball speed - Roosters 3.66 sec - Knights 3.33 sec
          Kicking metres - Roosters 195 - Knights 201
          Missed Tackles - Roosters 8 - Knights 24
          Errors - Roosters 6 - Knights 7
          Penalties conceded - Roosters 1 - Knights 3
          Interchanges - Roosters 4 - Knights 3

Not sure why they kicked for goal at the end of that game though - take the tap and play out the set. and time - They missed the goal and gave the Knights possession and they kicked down field and lucky Sam Bremner was there to take possession and run into touch to end the game.

Reminded me of a reserve grade in 1976 - Roosters were kicking for goal from a penalty after the half time siren had sounded and for some reason the other 12 Roosters players left the ground to go into the change room- the goal was missed and the other team obtained possession and set off down field - The Chooks only defender was the goal kicker.

The sight of the Roosters players running out of he change room to get back onto the field was a bizarre site I never saw before or since - to no avail though the other team had scored. I think Manly where the other team

                Press Conference- Interesting

Journo : John where does that win rate for you

Coach Strange : It's pretty average to be honest and feels like a loss

Perfect wake up call for our women.

Newcastle is probably the best chance of denying them a premiership.

If there was any complacency after such a great start to the season, nearly blowing that game and ultimately being lucky to win it should put an end to that.

funny story. yeah, it was a mistake for us. maybe we made the decision to go for goal before temara was put in the head bin. if you kick for goal i believe you have to make a genuine attempt at goal? even so, rae should have aimed 20 metres to the left of the goal and made sure it went over the dead ball line.

all up, an odd game. one to learn from - at 10 nil playing the knights without their best back we got away from respecting the basics.
strangey has some decisions to make - does he rest players this week? how does he make sure the girls are firing week 1 of finals after playing a dead rubber?
but when all's said and done we're looking good

Would be a good opportunity to give Sammy Bremner a rest and Jada Taylor a run at the back.

A few may get a run who haven't played as yet - Jada Taylor (Fullback ) /Shannon Rose ( Centre/Fullback) and Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa(Prop).

The Knights deserved to LOSE...because they played that woman who online rejoiced at the Queen's death, calling her a vile slur.
