i think latrell's best bet at the moment is to maybe put a self imposed media ban on himself.

he is in the media weekly, nothing he says is really outlandish , but it is moderatley provoking, and im not really sure trell really has that true "i dont give a fark " persona , ala jwh, nas, old benny, gus, gal who genuinely dont care what people think of them and play the villain. gus and benny especially.

i suspect latrell does care, despite saying he doesn't, his best bet is to get fit and let his talking be on the field, he prob wont , and frankly i dont really care if he does or he doesnt , but all he is doing is enticing mental anguish for himself by constantly been a media whore.

then it'll be the inevitable im taking a break from the game, which would be a shame given his talent . that includes us rooster fans , we all need a villain, and trell has played his part to a t since going to souffs . however maybe in his long term interest the rabbit should just keep his head in the hole , if he doesnt want it shot off. He joined Souths and became grubby as.

He was a dirty grub when he played for us as well. I never liked him when he was a Rooster. I loved that he was effectively helping us to win games. I loved it whenever he received the ball, knowing that he would most likely cause havoc and score some points. Some of his on-field actions are some of my favourite moments of that time. His transfer to Souths was bittersweet to me. I knew that he was a game winner, but I was more so aware that he was a very dirty player, a player that didn't deserve to represent Easts.

They used to call it reverse-racism, but the truth is that Latrell is no more than an outright racist, a millionaire looking for a racist grudge to practice and worship. My maternal Russian grandfather was arrested and imprisoned for more than the duration of WW2 in Loveday Interment Camp in SA. He was ripped away from his family, his wife, his successful business, his sense of worth and his basic freedom. He was eventually released, whereupon he re-built his life, whilst never begrudging the Australian laws of the time. He loved life, he loved his (this) country (despite the unjust pain it gave him), and he loved Easts. He was a great Australian. Mitchell is the polar opposite.

Goodes also was not booed due to racism, he was despised by opposition crowds because he flopped to milk free kicks and he antagonised opposing crowds by feigning to throw spears at them whenever he kicked a goal. The 10 year old girl that called Goodes a gorilla was not due to racism, it's because that's what he looks like - the equivalent of calling a fat person a pig/elephant etc (from memory she was a chubby girl so probably copped that on the playground herself) or calling a very white person albino etc - it was playground bullying, not racism.

Me personally I’d be much more tolerant of him if he went to The Dolphins. Don’t think it will happen but The Fossil will throw huge money at him and we know for Latrell and his greedy family it’s all about the money.

In the history of the game I've never seen a player get more publicity than this guy. A full colour poster in today's paper, no less, along with the obligatory usual bleating on the back page.

For someone who has not achieved anything in the game since 2019, it's way over the top.

The booing was in regards to his exit from our club and the attack on Joey Manu. Lets stick to the facts .
