I am with you spanner. Was about to neck myself. To go through a team and not be able to name your big 3 is depressing. Because they are so young I suppose it is hard to say, but all other teams can name atleast a big 2. Still cant name a big 1.

Me either. There is not a single player who I would give that title to. SKD is close, but he is so inconsistent.

Reading this thread makes me sad. Lots of talent but jeez we are so, so short in the star department. We have none.

For 100% commitment i cannot go past Sam Perrett,sure there are mistakes by him but he turns up to play every week and gives his all,cant say that about some of the others.

Yes it is. The Broncos are the perfect example of what we should be aiming for. They have so much talent in that squad, but that's well balanced out by some top quality stars in Hannant, Thaiday, Civinoceva and Hodges.

Here lies the problem. Our club talks abou 100% commitment. Geez our club has alot of those players. Few with 100% class.

I would take a drinking Jennings, Carney, or overweight Inglis in a heartbeat.

When news came out that the Roosters looked to have signed SBW, a couple of mates (in all seriousness) asked how the Roosters can stay under the Salary cap. It must just be a reflex response. We are one of the few clubs that doesn't have a single player in the top 30 players in the NRL.

We also have the youngest squad though. Throw in a couple of stars next year with the kids we have now, and we will be a very good side again. Hopefully when this question is asked at the end of next year, there will be a lot of players being nominated...

Exactly. That's why I don't lay the blame solely on Brian Smith. He simply doesn't have the cattle to work with.
