Mate that is how I finally accepted Lodge as a Rooster. I genuinely believe people deserve chances in life. This Xerri guy looked pretty bad supporting his criminal brother as well as being a cheat and a Shire dickhead. Our staff seem to be pretty good at picking the right ones though.

Lodge made a mistake after being on the turps and some rec drugs. You used to be able to argue diminished responsibility for those types of incidents. I’m not in any way condoning what he did but I’d say he never started his night out with the intention of how it turned out. IMO there’s a big difference between that and how Xerri has behaved both pre and post his PED incident.

He is very clearly on the juice. We've brought in Paulo from the Rabbitohs who has shown in glimpses he's talented (played half decent against us), is a powerful ball runner, with question marks on his defence.... but we trust in Robbo, who is much like Bennett and Bellamy, one of the best coaches at bringing out the best in players. Following that, once Tupou retires, Toia and I believe Jack Mossman/ Xavier Chatfield Mooka, are young players with clear potential who will be around 19/20. Xerri not needed. ALso, he probably is a dkhead considering his public replies on his insta on a photo of him clearly on the juice.

I saw a recent picture of the guy and he looked juicy as hell.

Xerri or Young......no question, Young could be Tupou Mark 2 at a club like ours.

He was probably the Knights best player and in league terms he is a real baby........

Plus Young has sheer natural speed unlike Xerri who is quick but obviously was on the juice to match it with the likes of Fox etc........

Back to topic, re Xerri nah, and normally I am ok with second chances etc, but as Dr Voodoo said....Im not keen but will let the club decide......

BTW Jizzy, I am a lawyer (and I am a senior/boss/partner) well the sort etc where I work, and I do make decisions on who to recruit, who works with and for me, eg lawyers, accountants, auditors etc and I have tatts....whats wrong with me lol??????
