Yep.
As soon as he sided with Latrell midweek, he lost his edge over the opposition and therefore the team did as well. Souths then picked up the extra power and it was the difference. In a game of ‘1 percenters’ Trent gave away our advantage from last game and LM gained it.
The coach whisperer would be filthy
You make a really important point , Country Member.
One percenters are imperative to get in the NRL, they are the difference between winning and losing.
What our coach did , by sympathising with Latrell, was to send the wrong message to our own team.
He said Latrell was the victim, and was treated badly in Round 25 by our fans, and (the targeting) by our team, in round 25..
What sort of message do you think that sends to our players (and fans) for that finals game?
Be sympathetic to Latrell and Souffs when you go onto the field?
And what do Souffs do?
They get the sympathy vote from us, then proceed to bash us out of the game.
Latrell on Manu, Arrow on a prone Tedesco in origin, Burgarse on Teddy on Sunday.
Same pattern, and they are laughing because they fooled our coach, and gave themselves a psychological advantage.
There is not one other coach in the League that sympathises with the opposition, but our coach does, and has his high-horse position of his team not laying down.
I really don't give a sh*t about whether a free- flowing game suits the Roosters style- we need to milk penalties when we need it, or it suits us.
I also couldn't care less about politically correct (gay) or other social causes that our coach pushes - leave that up to social workers and social reformers in society.
I would love to see Robinson get down and dirty in the street fight, in the gutter, throwing punches.
Maybe that would give the right impression to his team, and to his fans, that he is willing to do everything in his power to win a premiership.
Its no use preaching to his team that they need to get better each week, that they need to be ruthless, if the coach does not want to follow suit.
If you are continually going into the fight with one hand tied behind your back, because of moral grounds, maybe its time to quit the fight.
Unless of course, you want to untie the hand, get into the fight by all means possible, and get serious.

I tyell you want whould be nice....a season where we get looked after like Canberra and play the bottom 4 twicce and the top 4 only once!
It’s the price we pay for being a glamour club. TV companies and fans want to see big matches.
I can tell you for free right now we will be playing Souths, Melbourne, Penrith and Parra all twice next year before they even blink at the drawLast edited by weplayforprems; 09-13-2022, 10:44 AM.

We probs not gonna win put putting 1 or 2 tries in in that 13 on 11 time would've made the score a bit better but could've messed with Souffs heads. We'll never know.
But wait for the Easts v Souffs match next year. Hope that's in week 1. Will be insane.

The fact that people are disagreeing with my point about losing games that we should've won which ended up costing us top 4 shows what mental midgets frequent this forum. Of course there are a number of intelligent posters here who will always have my respect.
