It wasn't about calling out players, I do recall a pommy journalist week after week asking why the side was so clunky and playing like strangers and Trent was starting to get annoyed by the bloke but kept saying something along the lines of "we are building combinations" and "trying to find it" - for us to suddenly reel off 8 in a row after the 2nd bye was interesting.

Trent had a plan, it didn't quite work out....let's get back to a focus on being in the top 4 from the start please.

We went from premiership favourites after 20 minutes to gone by half time.
It was a master stroke by Demetriou using the same tactic the Dogs used in the 1988 GF. Burgess knock out Tedesco. At worst you will get binned for 10. Well maybe not at worst.
I blame Robbo for not thinking outside of the circle like that.
Those who think missing Teddy, Crichton, Toups and throw in Manu and Collins isn't the sole reason we are out need to take 6 months off and come back smarter.

That was the turning point. We were well on top and then we lost our main man to an illegal play that only warranted a penaltt. This was after we lost a guy for 10 mins for a supposed punch that wouldn't knock the skin off custard

I think you are massively misguided in your assumptions that Robinson was not concerned about our losses in the first half of the year because he got annoyed by a pommy journalist in a press conference.

Trent Robinson isn’t going to let the public know when he is concerned, he’s been here for 10yrs now, surely we know that much by now.

I think that the real reason that we lost was down to our home ground. Our winning record there is pretty average.

You have to back up such idiocy with proof, otherwise STFU.

We only win half our games at this new stadium. Get us back to the SCG.

You sure? I could of sworn Momo missed that legs tackle for their 1st half Latrell try.

I remember that the try where Mitchell barged over the line, just to the right of our posts, our last defender made an arm-grab at him. This annoyed me so much that I took note during the replay that this 'defender' was wearing the 9.

EDITED to add that we are probably talking about different moments. Latrell scored about 100 tries during that game, as I recall.

EDITED again to add that Martell VSOP on ice has decided to commence the removal of all memory of that game from my mind.

Hopefully we hit the ground running next season, it would be nice to get some early wins in the bank. This season was ****ed up from the get go. As long as souffs don't win, that's all I wish for.

                            Trust In Trobbo....

He had us peeking in Rd 25, our GF....what more do u want lol

Sorry to say but Trobbo has lost a lot of Cred over the last few yrs. Seems more interested in being a media darling or an NRL yes man and playing politics eg. pride rights and WNRL gimmick ball supporter etc.
Surpassed in the coaching peeking order by Fitzy (our true coaching achiever) and even Payton. All he needs to do is shave his head and we can call him our Brad Arthur

Took 2/3's of the year to work out Walker and Keary needed to be swapped around...our season changed then but it was too late and we were required to win too much which took it's toll in the end.

Since 2019 we are 1 out of 5 wins in finals football and that was a flukey win against the woeful titans. Only the eels would be proud of that record lol

100% down to robbos arrogance. Stupid decisions early on left the run late. Easily could’ve and should've been top 2.

really in the 6again and era of blindness we should do what other teams do lie down milk penalties not be square at marker and beoffside constantly....2 of souffs milked penalties we completely missed them didnt touch their stupid heads and got penalised all the brawls were them laying on top of our blokes and hassling them.. and ref thinks its ok to sin bin our blokes are they that stupid.????
But the biggest momentum swing which may have helped us was Toups hog passes inside to Radley and we are fine and a good chance that play killed me the most.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
