Robinson is a good coach, but he makes mistakes and is not quick to correct them sometimes a classic example is the keary and walker great experiment it went on for months before he realized Keary was a left side running 5/8 and binned the experiment, as to todays game there is no way he should have picked poor old hutch in the centers i felt sorry for hutch i posted before the game that he was in a lot of trouble today Hes no Mitch Auberson far from it you don't play blokes that are as slow as wet week and have never played the position much in a backline up against Latrell Alex and co. This trust in Trent stuff is bullshit he gets it wrong too.

I just think that he has to unfortunately join the rest of the lying dogs, or otherwise be remembered as the most honorable coach that stopped winning.

I think it’s common football sense that once we made the top 8 to then rest key players like Manu, JWH & Co. I criticised his tactic to play our best team for the dead rubber which showed our hand to south’s and had us going into the final without key players and injured key men. Give me a win today instead of last week’s dead rubber any day of the week.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

What Robbo needs to do is come up with some plan to stop our brain dead players from losing their shit every time we play Souths. It’s getting embarrassing. Souths just have to turn up these days and and we’ll capitulate on our own to hand them a win.

- Manu was out and he's a significant part of our backline. Without him we were a solid chance so long as no other backs got injured.
- 3 key players went down with injuries (two due to the opposition's misconduct causing concussions). This completely decimated our backline and gave us pretty well no bench rotation.
- Players were sent off all over the place.and the game was a frigging mess. Klein lost control of the game and started awarding whacky penalties every time a Souffs player lay down. It was a farce!
- They scored 2 more tries than us despite all of this. IMO it was a pretty valiant effort on our behalf. Not the result we wanted but sometimes this is just how things pan out. I don't think there's a lot we coulda done better.
- Our season's over now. It's a shame because I honestly think we're a chance against the Riff if fully fit. One to put behind us rather than over-analyse IMO.

The coaching staff and players may equally share the blame though - The game preparation can always be improved as can the performance any individual player puts in on game day
Sure the reluctance to switch Keary and Walker can be seen as a mistake
Other things that needs to be addressed and should be addressed is the inconsistency of the teams game during the 80 minutes.
They Start well and then dip in their game level which affects the execution of the basics to the required level- fail to complete sets/ increase in errors/missed tackles and discipline drops.
Need to work on finding that consistent game level that can be played over 80 minutes week in week out.
I know Robbo likes to build on the season as the comp progresses but that may need a re-think.
Penrith are not 100% at their best week in week out but they do play at a consistent level in games week in week out.
The consistent level that Penrith play at week in week out over the last few seasons is the level of consistency the Roosters will need to reach if they want to in premierships.
Do the Roosters players need to be fitter to cope week in week our with the faster game?

Robinson proves these doubters and naysayers wrong every time. They said the 2014 and 2015 teams failed because they didn’t win a comp and that Robinson’s finals record from 2014 to 2017 was abysmal then he went and delivered back to back premierships. Just when they say Neil Henry or Brad Arthur are better he goes out and gets a premiership.
