I said on another thread that Robinson needs to get up with the times.
Cop any type of high shot, and get up slowly rubbing your face or head (Souffs?) , and chances are you will milk the penalty, under current NRL rules.
That gives you field position, and another set of six.
Better than having integrity "and not lying down"
2 years we have been bashed out of the finals series - Manu hospitalised by the Scum last year, and Teddy sent to wonderland this year.
When is Robinson going to learn, and also, stop sympathising with Latrell?
He even admitted it in today's presser, that it wasn't a game of football.
Gloves are off Trent, I could have told you that, before the game.
Have you ever heard the Alice Cooper song - "No more Mr Nice Guy"?

I'm on the fence. I really can't see any contenders to even remotely consider moving Robbo on for. Bellyache is the next best coach and he got rolled by the fkin Raiders... should Melb let him go too? Lol.

I think Robbo definitely needs to wear how the season went in the sense the start of our season was so bad primarily based off the fact he swapped Sammy W and Keary for no reason. Kept playing Hutch and Watson at dummy half when Verrills was out didn't help either. It came to the point where it would've taken a miracle to win the comp from here, winning 12 in a row. Souffs were and are dogcnts who are a stain on humanity but they executed better than us today in key moments. We peaked early by necessity coz of our slow start and persisted with players out of their depth in the 13. I.e. Hutch, Momo, Sitili (pre ACL).

Additionally, Robbo really really needs to re-think this "Roosters way" and white knight moral high ground theory he has. Yes, its amazing we have such great competitors and heroes on the side but if every other team in the comp stays down for penalties and we don't, you don't get competition points for it. He also appears arrogant to where it almost doesn't matter about the other team or the decisions or any external factors and just that the result is based simply off us "executing" and playing "Roosters footy" as if we are in total control of everything. He's always been like that so nothing new but sometimes costly. E.g. Souffs today knocked out Teddy and laid down for penalties and he said "I dont have an opinion". Call them out Trent!! Meanwhile, FA Cup ears Demetriou has an opinion and he couldn't coach to save his life.

Best not call it out it just looks like sour grapes and anyone who has half a brain can see what went on. I think you mentioned you would be embarrassed to win like that or maybe it was someone else. We went out for dinner and J still had my Roosters shirt a family of South’s supporters were out at the same place kids parents grand parents They saw me looked at me and I smiled at them, the grandmother said did you go to the game I said yes she said bad luck I smiled again and said That was very ordinary today do you think next week your players will tackle around the head all game and try knock the Cronulla players out of the game The woman went red and just said yeah I know I smiled again and said enjoy your meal have a nice night

I take umbrage with Trent’s press conference more than anything else today… just so weak of him to sign off on the abject refereeing while his counterpart is singling out our players for disciplinary action.

Burgess should have flat out been sent for the heavy swinging arm on Tedesco. Apparently you’re allowed to headhunt your opponent’s best player with impunity just because it’s a final? Tedesco was clearly gone and that’s the point where the game descended into a farce. Burgess on the other hand was so emboldened he tried it all again on Lodge a minute later.

Just laughable… and Trent’s come out of it looking like a pussy for allowing his captain and other players to get bashed by foul play with not even a complaint. Mind you he looked like a pussy with his comments about Latrell’s feelings before the match. You think Latrell could care any less about the Roosters these days?

We have the second best list in the league… certainly better than Souths… so this season has been a failure and that’s very much on the coach.

Those losses hurt big time as shown yesterdaY!

Definitely. Poor discipline by Radley and Jared cost big time.

He'll never change unless Uncle Nick intervenes. Much of the same next year.

                        Yep.
As soon as he sided with Latrell midweek, he lost his edge over the opposition and therefore the team did as well. Souths then picked up the extra power and it was the difference. In a game of ‘1 percenters’ Trent gave away our advantage from last game and LM gained it.

                        • Don't think we will win another GF under Robbo. He hasn't adapted to these new rules He is better suited in NRL administration, he's too politically correct & nice.

He cares more about opposition players being booed & why other team players won't wear pride jerseys.

How about he teach some of our meat head players to not always get carried away & get sin binned. Or teach our players to not concede 4 tries against 11 f#$%king men.

He is a nice guy but that is not what you need in a coach. The discipline yesterday was terrible. We need a change but there is no other options available at the moment.

                            • We need a fresh start. Need to relocate to Gosford ASAP. Let's all be honest, we know soufs dwarf us in Sydney. I love this club and we are comfortable making the tough financial decisions that will benefit us as a club.

                              • The losses against the Bulldogs and Knights did come back to bite us.

It's just tragic that we lost to a team like Souths. The way they carried on yesterday makes me despise them even more, if that's possible.
