    Yep, 100%

We are the second best team. Maybe even the best at full strength.

We drew the one team in the finals we can’t control our heads against and through a combo of that, their foul play and more ridiculous injury bad luck, she’s all over.

Ultimately it may not hurt as much if Penrith strolls to the title because they might have done so anyway and they are a super team but geez it will be hard seeing an absolute pleb team like the Cowboys in the GF

This. We’re a Sitili dropped ball from beating Storm. Got laughably rorted by the refs at Penrith. I wasn’t even angry when we lost to the Eels. We actually played well that night I reckon. Parra’s first 40 mins was from the Gods, absolute Harlem Globetrotters stuff where every single miracle pass was perfect

In terms of centres , I dont know if Gildart is any good but seems odd to play a bloke out of position as opposed to giving a loan signing a chance to play in their preferred position.
I’ve argued for a while we should have a similar setup to football. Rugby league should have a seven man bench where you can still only use four of them. It just allows a bit more flexibility to cope with the growing injuries and HIA-a-thon in the game. Heck even a game like the Tigers you could take Teddy off at halftime and play a kid for a bit etc

          I think that's a good idea.

Cobber, you are a hindsight hero.

There are a myriad of complex reasons as to why games are lost. The coaches strategy is potentially one reason, however it is far more multifaceted than that. The main reason for our slow start was injured and recovering players.

We had a multitude of players coming back from very serious injury including Teddy, Collins, SST and Keary among others. We had new structures that hadn't yet been properly developed and tested due to the horror injury toll of LAST year. You really think that injury toll is within the coaches capabilities to control?

I think the mental midget is you, as knee jerk finger pointing with the benefit of hindsight is your best approach.

How is Jayden Nikorima going these days einstein?

                • Souffs would have to be the most undeserving pile of filth in the comp. If they were scratched from history and their club scorched to the ground, it still wouldn’t be enough to irradiate the stain on life they are. May they lose significantly well this year.

Apart from the word liar (or hypocrite) is there a more sophisticated term for an individual or entity that claims to be something but is actually the complete opposite?

Pride of the league they call themselves.

If you look closely (but not too close for health reasons) at souffs history and including the way they approached that game last Sunday, they are anything but.

Moreso parasitical nature than something to be proud of. In my opinion as well as the strom, they shit all over the code and their tactics on Sunday literally tore the fabric of the game asunder.

If anyone could stomach NRL360 (my god Anasta makes Ikin look mensa) they were discussing what the scum have done. With them forcing the bunkers hand with a mad sense of entitlement (led by no other than poster boy Latrell himself) they have brought the game to and down a slippery slope that it potentially may not recover from.

The panel was discussing potential rule changes in order to combat the explotation of the hia rules. They boxed themselves in trying to find a solution.

To which Crawley said the solution was what the Roosters do. Their coach has them play in the spirit of the game and they do not lie down. Aaron Woods has also been complimentary in this regard about our team.

The moral argument. A few posters on here have been very adamant that Robbo and the team have to "move with the times" and get our "milk on" in order to keep up with the competition. Forget moral superiority and all that.

                    I get it.

                    However.

The Roosters have been around for 114 years. This corrupt administration that oversees our code atm who are more concerned about the flow of money and politics in our game, have been around for 3.

They will eventually move on as administrators do in every sport, and hopefully (lol) this era of 6 agroan rubbish and everything else vlandys has spoiled will go with them.

Why discard our values as a football club for some glory (remember we have had our fair share and recently too) amongst this shocking time of adjudication in our sport?

I'm not talking boycott. I love seeing us fight back in the face of injustice and winning in 2019 was just that for reasons I won't say here right now.

They took 20minutes to deal with Dylan Brown breaking hutchinsons ribs.

Joey Manu had to literally interrupt play to bring attention to the officials what latrell did to his face.

They will not accommodate us lying down like they do with other teams. It will be a hiding to nothing.

I love Robbos stance. I love my Roosters team.

                    **** the NRL.

                    And most importantly, **** souffs.

                    • It's ridiculous that their coach Jason Demetriou got one over Robbo.

Anyone hear him today on radio claim that Cody Walker was a once in a generation player in his position. Hahahhaha, even Walker was embarrassed by it.

Still feel disgusted over that game.

It’s the price we pay for being a glamour club. TV companies and fans want to see big matches.

I can tell you for free right now we will be playing Souths, Melbourne, Penrith and Parra all twice next year before they even blink at the draw
We lost to Newcastle, Bulldogs, Dragons & Canberra minus their Origin players - enough said
