  • Suaalii long way to go if he wants to be a FB

    That's it

He looked good at some points but was clearly unprepared and out of his depth which makes sense as he is pretty much our third choice fullback.

Pretty rough. 19 year old who I don’t think was even playing fullback for the Bears? Gets slotted into the position with no prep in a furnace of a finals game. Thought he still looked pretty likely.

He's going to get himself into strife with his knee lifting

Oh please, gets thrown into FB in a powderkeg of a game when Teddy gets knocked out and doesn’t play like Teddy, wake up to yourself

he's a season or so away from being the out and out match winner he will be. hopefully he'll have a good off season, put on a few more ks and come out firing

Ridiculous comment and thread. Yeh let’s judge the kid on 60 minutes of football.

Nowhere near ready to be an NRL fullback but neither was RTS. He will learn the ropes off two of the best. But what today proved was all the idiots who said we have to let Teddy go next year are actually idiots.

JS probably hasn't even trained to take over as FB and because we are the worst top team with injuries since RL started, he had to step in and he was gutsy! If he 'wasn't ready' today, give him another 2 weeks and he would probably be giving Teddy a run for his money, but not that he would take over BUT the kid is freak and is not worthy of any criticism.

He needs to change that running style of leading with the leg/knee when launching into the oppositions D line - did another one today - already had a warning.

Still learning the game at NRL level so another year on the wing before moving into the centres

He ran 200m whereas Latrell ran 78 playing for the winning team.

As the leader of a backline comprising Hutcho, Butch, Naiqama and Momirovski he did OKAY!

It was really shyte losing key players in the way we did. Not a lot else I can say there. IMO we've just gotta move on from it....

He looked great running the ball, his passing will develop, missed a few opportunities, but wingers don’t usually pass the ball, think he’ll be great, would like to see him in the Centers next year.

He’ll be a great fullback for the wallabies. No point wasting thread space on him.

a great talent and I’d love him to be a long term centre for us, but he is not an idiot. The money he’ll make from rugby will be massive
