Highly Unlikely for the money he would command - we need some really strong forwards and a five eight for the future or if Keary goes down

Mrs bb the 'social butterfly'.
It was all past my bedtime even then.
Many varied and interesting things did I see and hear.
Journos sure did love a drink back then.

Just depends on a few factors. We would move on Momorovski if possible, thats 300k, is there some cap space leftover from this year, could be 150 or whatever available, thats 450. Would we be happy moving Sitili on, we have some good young Back row talent in the wings. Has Sualli let Nick know he will move onto Rugby in 24 so Roger could be upgraded in 24. Who knows, but not out of the ralms of possibility Roger spends 3 0r 4 years finishing where it all began.

The League places nominal values on all players for contract registration purposes.
The NRL Auditor thoroughly reviews all contracts and can also value a players worth if this is not truly or fairly reflected in the new contract.
A club for instance couldn't try to register a contract for Munster for 400k a season when his nominal value would be around 800k plus.
I think what they need is a salary arbitration system where parties can elect to go to a third party to determine the salary payable by way of conciliation or if the parties are in dispute the third party can determine by way of arbitration the salary payable.
i.e NRL Development contracted players are on 60k but are expected to train the same as full NRL Contracted players are so their salary should reflect this.
One assumes there maybe other clauses in these development contracts where the player receives extra payments for each NRL game they play as other wise they are being exploited more than they already are and the players union should step inLast edited by King Salvo; 09-30-2022, 05:09 PM.
