The return of the prime piece of real estate is a major victory in the fight for Land Rights in Australia's biggest city.

A Sydney reserve surrounded by multi-million dollar homes in the city's exclusive north shore region has been handed back to the Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC).

The Talus St Reserve in the suburb of Naremburn is home to a tennis club and features eight courts and a clubhouse.
The precinct also includes a creek, bushland, walking tracks, picnic tables, and parking areas.

The decision to hand back the Gammeraygal land under the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Rights Act was made by former Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, Rob Stokes.

    Willoughby Council.

If Naremburn, multi-million dollar homes Naremburn...then why not Moore Park...multi-million dollar homes and stadiums Moore Park?
    Stupid stupid stupid

They can get used to being in the “away” team dressing room as that’s the only time they will be allowed in our home ground!!

Cronulla is nowhere near Soufffs. It’s why I was even more gutted to lose. We would have beaten the Sharks by 40 and Soufffs will dominate them too
          Let’s hope not.

            Not according to them!
According to today's Dean Ritchie article in DT,
"We've had a taste of Allianz Stadium- and now we want more."

[i]A third successive sellout in front of crowds totalling more than 120,000 has only steeled South Sydney's hunger to play out of the new Allianz Stadium.
And Souths don't care if that upsets their high profile neighbours. [i/]

Most of those 80k supporters at the first 2 games were Easts fans.

The article goes on to say that it seems Souths fans have fallen in love with the new stadium.

In a declaration certain to rile the Sydney Roosters, a defiant South Sydney say they won't be denied in their bullish ambition to move from Accor Stadium to the new Allianz Stadium.

Now the stadium might need another rebuild after that filthy team and their scummy supporters enter it !!!
You do realize that the Roosters don’t own the stadium don’t you?
The NRL hire it for semi final football, it’s got nothing to do with Souths.

Parra also lost but get to play at Commbank their regular season home ground.

The teams that won the elimination finals week 1 should get the advantage of a home final within reason in week 2 in games against the losers of the 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 games thus the venues should have been

                      Sharks vs Souths at Accor

Eels vs Raiders at GIO Stadium

Sydney Finals week 2/3 grounds would be Accor and Alliance

Parra can play at com bank this week as it's deemed an appropriate stadium for week 2 finals. Unfortunately for the sharks their home ground is not. It holds something around 12,000 so they can't use it as a finals venue after week 1. The rule makes sense to me. It seems there is a fair bit of support to scrap the week 1 home games for clubs unless their stadium can hold 25k or more for next year.

                        I'm sure you knew that.

I don't agree that elimination winners should get the home advantage week 2. I think it's right how it is personally.

They can love it all they want. Doesn’t mean they can have it. They can keep admiring it from their shithole at Homebush.

According to today's DT Blake Solly signed a contract for the vermin to stay at Accor KNOWING very well that the stadium wouldn't be getting a major refurbishment. LOL
That club can't spell integrity let alone does it have any. They agreed to stay acknowledging that the stadium wouldn't be reinvented, than they try and use that as an excuse to get out of a contract when something better comes up. No wonder they try and coax players into breaking contracts, they mean nothing to them.
