The only narrative that would have been remembered is that he had a big sook because we lost. Its over the top to say his press conference will hurt us going forward. No one is going to remember or care what he said or didn't say- our season is over. Unfortunately we weren't the better team on the day and didn't deserve to win.

Yep Tom Burgess should have at least been binned for the high tackle- no he didn't deliberately try to take him out. Burgess always sails close to the wind.....as does JWH. Both have ended up copping a suspension out of the game.

Yes they did try and milk penalties. Today Latrell has come out and said he doesn't. It was all there for everyone to see- if that's the player he has become and wants to add being a liar on top of it, then so be it- his problem

I believe you made a very fair and correct point about Radley’s reputation preceding him on Sunday? and that had very real consequences for us on the field despite the reality not matching the perception?

Where exactly do you think that perception becomes reality?

Trent signed off with a whimper on what occurred on Sunday… you think that’s going to change the perception of Radley and the Roosters next season? and how we’re viewed by the officials?

Seriously… what a coach publicly says or doesn’t say has repercussions… particularly a coach of Trent’s standing in the game… if you’re happy with him saying nothing and accepting all of that nonsense on Sunday then absolutely don’t complain when we get more of the same next year thanks

robbo's got to be robbo - it's not in his nature to mouth off about decisions - he accepts that sometimes things won't go your way. ricky stuart has a talent of mouthing off about the refs and good luck to him - there's more than one way to be a coach

Trent’s been happy to give his opinion on a number of things lately that have nothing to do with the club… so perhaps he should have spoke the truth for our benefit on Sunday… because we’ve come out of that game not just beaten but disgraced

I am completely over JWH and to a lesser degree Rads, how dumb, this is a professional sport, no space for revenge just do what you have to do to win.

I have said before, forget this crusade about not staying down, we should have been on the band wagon.

As soon as we lost Teddy we were stuffed with no Manu. Again just too many injuries.

We need Lodge for next year, JWH will be out most of the season suspended.

I truly believed we could win this year, what could have been. Injuries killed us again.

Our window may close next year, we will have a real chance if we don’t have crucial injuries.

I didn’t get to watch the game as I was watching the Maitland Pickers win the Newcastle comp at Hunter Stadium. Can’t bring myself to watch it.

So disappointed and frustrated with the game, more than I ever have been.

Would be crazy to not retain Lodge.

Also don't watch the game unless your into slow torture punishment or watch the first 25min then turn it off & pretend we won.

They will put the biff on during the club rounds, and in the semi finals , and will kick us out of the semis.
That is despite us being favorites and having the better side- they will just bash us out of the contest again.

a few things i thought out of sunday

* we often in recent times have seemed to miss the emotional ideal for games with souffs, weve overcooked and undercooked it, sunday we overcooked it.

* we became way to obsessed with retaliation, rather then playing a game of football, souffs did the same but more of their players kept their heads in the game.

* without tedesco , we seemed to totally lack leadership , which surprised me seen as keary and jwh, rads were all stillnon the field, i still dont think teddy is a great captain, ala cords, freddy, c smith, but he is head and shoulders above anyone else.

* i wonder if that first period of playing 11 players, and ending up behind affected the team mentally, i didnt notice much onfield , but there must have been some head scratching going on.

* jwh and rads i love em both, but in highly emotional games like that , i know you need to stand up for team mates, but nudge the dial down 5 - 10 % fellas.

* if we lose teddy or manu for an extended period , we have major issues imo, even with keary.

not related to sundays game - but why all the hate for sitili ? i really thought he was a shining light for us in the early part of the year, yes he has defensive issues, but he isn'T exactly robinson crusoe there either, and his attack and hard hole running was almost cords like.

but i think i watch a different roosters game to some on here, same game, same opposition , just in a paralell universe, where a different set of events seems to unfold.
