Have to Agree was very happy with his effort and well done I think Smithy made the right call by not playing Mortimer over Mitchell.

That was the best Anthony Mitchell has played in the red, white and blue. For the moment he should be starting. Friend has been struggling but I think he will come good.

Agree with this. It was his best game in FG by far. He provided some spark out of dummy half and some good, quick, clean service which allowed us to get on the front foot. He should be starting again next week cause Friend was pretty ordinary imo.

Mitchell defends just fine too. Only difference is he can actually run an attacking set so we don't have to focus on it like we do with friend

Both great players but Mitchell's offers more just look at this first half we were very quick at playing the ball Mitchell targeted there big forwards and kept running at them gaining meters as with jake we don't get that he to me looks confused and unfit and slow just my opinion.

He has nothing more to do to claim the no.9 for the roosters for at least the next month.

Seriously we scored as many tries in the 30 minutes Mitchell was on as we have n the lat 300 minutes of jake Friend playing hooker. I see no reason why Mitchell shouldn't be given a fair crack to stake a claim playing 50-60 mins for a good stint

I agree, Mitchell is nippy out of dummy half, where as Friend is geriatric slow.
