No Robbo won't be coaching for as long as he wants.

He will be based on his results like everyone else. He has gathered enough credit for 3 GF's in 7yrs but the last 3yrs of not even making a preliminary final is eating those credits up.

He can't hang around in some comfort zone without better results in the future especially with the playing talent we have.

We need more depth to cover injuries and suspensions can’t see that at present Momoroski and Hutchinson are not the answer for the backs hopefully there are guys coming through that can put pressure on positions or we will just have the same as this year

Fantasy is bullsh!t.
I'd much rather use the VB Hard Earned index as a guide to how good a player is going.
I can't wait for it to come up around half time.

Getting 15 points for a try (or whatever it is) when many times it is just a catch and put down is hardly something that can be used to how well a player is performing.

But I did like the Moneyball movie.

It’s both objective and subjective but then what isn’t? A poor player will look half good in a great side… eg. Momorovski… a pretty good player will look like a star in a dud side… eg. Doueihi

I don't see how Paul Momirovski was a bad signing when he played over 20 games for a team in Penrith that won the comp in 2021. You don't play those number of games for starters if he wasn't at that level as a player irrespective of how Penrith were going.

Kevin Naiqama was a left field signing as he had "retired" so one would say it was purely a squad depth signing decision.

Momirovski was a depth injury replacement he wasn’t the first choice, if he was so good why didn’t Penrith keep him?

But Momirovski turned them down when he had the opportunity to come back to the Roosters having played SG Ball and 5/8 for the premiership winning NYC cup side in 2016 - Manu/Radley/Sitili/Nat Butcher/Benny Thomas/Benny and Jesse Marschke to name a few from the side.

“It just kind of lined up that the Roosters had a position for me.

“I love this club. It did a lot for me when I finished high school as a person and a man so it is definitely where I want to be and where I want to stay.”

A huge factor in Momirovski’s decision to come back to the Roosters was master coach Trent Robinson, who recently signed a five-year extension to ensure he will be at the helm of the Tri-colours until 2028 at least.

“Definitely, Robbo is one of the greatest coaches in our game,” Momirovski said when asked if Robinson played a role in his homecoming.

“Everyone knows it. He signed another five-year extension. That is expected. I would be surprised if that wasn’t the case.

“He is one of the greatest minds in the game and I have learnt a lot under him.

“I definitely want to stay long-term.

“I spent five years here before I left so it is a place I know very well. I definitely want to continue staying here.”
