  • Anyone… but THEY who shall not be named…

I like to consider myself a fair minded person, although it’s been hard to accept the loss last weekend. I’m moving on and have no real issues with any of the remaining teams going on to win the coveted premiership trophy… most of them I have justifiable reasons to succeed, now that we’ve crashed out of the race… all except ONE!!!

Now some of you have been hardcore roosters fans from the womb… wow… it shows in your passion for this great club… I, myself, admittedly, am a new fan/follower/believer (been here 5mins so to speak)… but I have seen the light & now understand the dark battle a champion club like Easts, has to wage through both on and off the field… all the boardroom, officialdom, media driven, political guerilla warfare, that takes place to derail this great club, especially against our archenemy, the Voldermort-like, mouths-from-Sxxxxs.

This year we were not strong enough to handle the pressure. Lessons will be learned and as they say, live to fight another day… your not a loser, if you never quit…. And quitting is not in this club’s DNA… premiership or not!

Would like something different like Sharks v Raiders GF. Both of them haven't got more than 5 premierships combined so would like to see one of them win it.

At least it won't be a Riff v souffs sh*t GF.

Dont care who wins it out of the cows, sharks, faiders or parra. I'm neutral about them all atm

But all season haven't really seen anyone but the Riff taking it out. The only real challengers were Easts and the drizzle.

It'll be a Parra vs Riff GF IMO

I do have a slight worry Souffffs might try and belt Penrith all day like they did to us. It’s the only way they can win. Whoever wins that prelim is winning the comp comfortably. I don’t think Penrith will get caught up in the rubbish we did. They deserve to win the comp. I just hope it’s not the Cowboys in the GF with them because it could dead set be 50-0.

Might work for the first five minutes before Penriff bolt in.

i don't hate any teams but if i'm being honest i don't want any of them to be 2022 premiers. the least dirty shirts in that dirty laundry bag are in order: parra, canberra, sharks, cowboys, bunnies, panthers

If Penrith don't win from here I'll be stunned.

They are impervious to injury and their only threat - us - were taken out of the running courtesy of a few curses.

Repeated ill-discipline from the same two players, plus a heavy injury toll is what cost us this year. We are a much better team than Souths. Physically we had them. Mentally they killed us. We need to get a lot smarter.

No, they bashed us out of the game.
                            Flattened Teddy, he never returned.
                            We were leading 8-6 then.
Burgess wasn't sent off, never to return.
                            So Souths won.
Souths are rejoicing at their win.
We must hire thugs to win next season, obviously.
Only a new send-off rule could change that.
Same thing will happen next season, you watch...bash the Roosters out of games, just like Souths did.
Every team could be doing it, only get sin binned during the match, but you win.
