Round 5: Roosters v Warriors 'By the Clock'

    4th Minute - SYD TRY | SYD 6-0
Shaun Kenny-Dowall dances his way to the line, ducking and weaving through the Warriors defence to open the scoring. A beautiful backline move put the centre in a great position to score. Braith Anasta adds the extras.

    7th Minute - CLOSE CALL | SYD 6-0
Kenny-Dowall almost grabs his second in only 7 minutes. A nice cross-field kick found his winger Sam Perrett, who batted it back for the New Zealand international. But the video referee deemed the ball was knocked into Warrior Bill Tupou.

    16th Minute - CLOSE CALL | SYD 6-0
Perrett goes close, but a Warriors player is able to ground the ball in his own in-goal before the Roosters winger could score. A nice grubber from Mitchell Pearce had the defence in two minds. The right side of our attack is looking lethal.

    21st Minute - SYD TRY | SYD 10-0
Mitchell Aubusson scores his first, with some simple work through the hands leading to the second rower fending off the Warriors defence to score an easy try. Anasta missed the conversion.

    29th Minute - SYD TRY | SYD 16-0
Anthony Mitchell scores an unbelievable try from a beautifully weighted kick from Brad Takairangi. The hooker dived on the ball right before the dead ball line, adding to the long list of spectacular tries this season. Anasta converts.

    34th Minute - WAR TRY | SYD 16-4
Jerome Ropati crosses for the Warriors first points of the match, capitalising on a nice offload from Lewis Brown. James Maloney was unable to add the extras from the sideline.

    HALFTIME

    45th Minute - CLOSE CALL | SYD 16-4
Pearce dives over but is deemed to be held up in a contentious call against the home side.

    55th Minute - SYD PG | SYD 18-4
A penalty allowed Anasta to kick our side 12 points in front.

    57th Minute - WAR TRY | SYD 18-8
Glen Fisiiahi makes a break and dives over in the corner to give the visitors a sniff headed into the final quarter of the match. Maloney misses from the sideline, leaving the gap at 10 points.

    71st Minute - BIG HIT | SYD 18-8
Frank-Paul Nuuausala puts a massive hit on Fisiiahi, showing the Tricolours aren't about to surrender their lead.

    76th Minute - SYD PG | SYD 20-8
Anasta knocks another kick over, this time from a penalty due to Simon Mannering marking incorrectly.

    79th Minute - SYD TRY | SYD 26-8
Anthony Minichiello crosses at the death. A neat kick from Pearce found Kenny-Dowall, who kicked in across the ground to the fullback who sealed the deal under the posts.
