Radley plays for that looks after his welfare... Murray does not.. Murray could become the next Fenech

Unfortunately, it’s daylight between him and Murray now. The last two seasons for Victor has been very disappointing.

I love Rads but what does be have to do to get back on par with Murray.

In my opinion he needs to decide what kind of player he wants to be. He either needs to be a hard hitting enforcer or a ball playing back rower. He’s struggling to keep up with both roles.

The introduction of Brandon Smith in 2023 will take the pressure of Rads for his enforcer role, allowing him to do more with the ball. We’ve all seen our go forward when his attack is on song.

I never want to see him pull back on his ‘inflictor’ role, but I do think he needs to model his game more on the way Murray is currently playing. It will add so much more value to the team.

BTW, I wouldn’t trade Victor for anyone, but he does need to change his game if he truely wants to get to the next level.
What does Rads need to do to get back on par with Murray?

        1. Stay on the field.

Radley on the other hand is a different story… they don’t call him the Inflictor just because it rhymes with his name… a fearsome defender
You do understand you can “ lay someone out “ by getting up under the ball and with good technique put them on their backsides? If you haven’t seen Murray pull off at least two of those throughout the last few seasons I don’t know what to say.

Radley is a brute, comes in 100 miles an hour and gets his players more often then not.. and if he hasn’t gotten them he has probably got himself.

Rads isn't even in the Top 5 locks in the game at the moment. He has turned into a liability and needs to sort himself out. I don't want a cult hero I want a winner who stays on the field. I think he came back too big after his ACL injury and has been a mock enforcer ever since. Admittedly, he hasn't been helped by the new rules and has been unfairly targeted at times. Doesn't excuse him from having low emotional intelligence though. I'd put Yeo, Murray, Lolo, Jurbo ahead of him. If I cared more about other teams I might be able to pull a couple more names out. The good thing is that we know he can play footy and he can get back on track.

That may be true but you can’t compare the two in that sense… do I need to bring out Radley’s highlight reel of hits?

Radley is obviously the tougher harder player… half cut and fearless… little sense of self preservation… seems to be lacking in pain receptors

Murray has more finesse and natural athletic ability… he looks to offload… Radley doesn’t

In terms of running the ball their numbers are all but identical this year

To be honest I’ve always thought Murray a little over-rated… and Radley to some extent as well… but they’re both Origin level players so there is not that much between them

More than happy with Radley being a Rooster… if I could choose any player in the league to join him Murray would be well down on that list

I love Victor. He just needs to grow a brain.
