If anything there's evidence we should move away from club colours and copy the far more lucrative and successful QLD Cup.

You are right when you say it is not an equal comparison. The NSW Cup is a century old competition with established frameworks and infrastructure. Fed by junior leagues that have been establish for decades. They have talent on full time contracts earning salaries that far exceed what the WNRL players earn and are kept alive by leagues clubs who are fulfilling their tax obligations by investing their gambling profits back into the community.

It shouldn't be a fair comparison but despite all that the WNRL garners far more interest in tv ratings, they have individuals with significantly larger followings than anyone in the NSW Cup, they attract significant corporate dollars and they are bringing a new fan to the game which is opening new doors for the game with corporate partnerships.

I love watching the NSW Cup, since the begining on here I've posted a lot of content to do with the Jets, Roos and Bears but I've also got enough self-awareness to realise I'm in the minority. Not that many people enjoy it.

I appreciate you don't enjoy seeing women beat each other up as you say, which is odd given how much you beat up on their game. But the denial of the facts and this delusional agenda that the NSW Cup is so intersting and being opressed by the marketing dollars of the NRLW is just delusional.
    I like you. Well said.

I’d find it hard to believe right now that more people aren’t interested in women’s footy than reserve grade. And the numbers back that up.

I don’t think his views are negative towards women at all. I think he stands up for them and I for one would be very happy for my two young men to end up with girls who end up raised to be women like his.

Digraceful comment mate. Typical triggered response of someone who wants everyone to conform to their own opinions. You can't bring family up on a footy forum.

Some of his comments suggest he has an out dated or very old fashioned view of women

This opinion though would not lead me to bring his family into it and make any negative aspersions on him as a Parent.

Im sure he is a loving Father who provides for his family. I consider comments on others family as potentially inflammatory and off limits on here

And it's no wonder...reserve grade NRL is boring. You can't watch it, the standard is poor, mistake athons most of the time.
You can hardly watch some of the first grade games they're so boring.

              *
Our first grade team could've still won the 'sin bin Sunday' game, but kept dying with the ball in the forwards instead of passing it out to unmarked Kevin.
Our women's team should be taken to first grade training in Jan to show the men how to use their backline.

Of course you of all people would think that a man telling women what they should or should not be doing is not a negative thing

Old fashioned views are not outdated. Considering them outdated is the problem with society today.

I’m todays society, his gender should gave nothing to do with it. The problem is you, using it to as to support your argument. You can’t be a woke and have it both ways.

Thirteen is a serious bugger and I have never known him to make a piss take comment to try and get a reaction. Simp should keep going.

Yeah I agree but a bit of a dog shot to go from talking about NRLW to people's family lol

I largely agree with SamKerrSimp that NRLW is a great initiative and our club have done well to get behind it and our team is very good. I don't agree that you need to like it and if you point out its shortfalls that you are automatically a sexist which is what a lot of people are implying. Let people have their own opinions.
