Our girls tried hard. did their best and were a credit to us and themselves.
One year you build a team, then the NRL swoops in and takes *half* of your team and gives them to other teams.
Yes, I know, "spread the joy around so all the new clubs have a chance".
Looking forward to the day that ceases.

Our team this year was too small, too light, and as such was run over.
Also, too much razzle dazzle footy, too many mistakes, and not a lot of respect for possession and set completions.

we had a team that was capable of winning it. yeah, the one season contracts aren't ideal but that's the woman's game atm and it wasn't the reason we didn't go b2b - it was 6 teams last season as well. next year will be a different story with 4 new teams so who knows how that mop will flop
