Wong superb, has a lot of players in front of him at the Roosters ATM ; Butcher Bros, Crichton, Sitili (when fit) and Hutcho. Be interesting to see his development
If the Roosters coaching staff think he's better than Butcher Bros, Hutch & Sitilli then he'll jump ahead of them.
By now I would have thought that Egan Butcher would be playing in the backrow with Crighton because Egan is a big bloke who was a 5/8 so he does have ball skills but he really hasnt been given a crack instead Robbo went with Nat so Im not sure what Robbo looks for but it could be a few yars before we see Wong in the backrow.
I think Wong will have to do the Robbo apprenticeship & have to play in the middle before he is any chance of playing on the edge.

Siua Wong has played each game and the full 80 minutes
vs New Zealand - 51 tackles ( 3 missed) - 65 running metres vs Kikau's 23 tackles ( 6 missed) - 55 running metres
If you were picking who was the better backrower across the Tournament for Fiji then Siua Wong would be the pick.
One would say he will be playing NRL in 2023- be 20 next year so still able to play Jersey Flegg but I assume he will start at least in NSW Cup in 2023
No sure why people are advocating for Suaalii to play second row though.
He is far better off staying in the backs especially if the Roosters want to retain him - note Corey Oates who actually started out as backrower and switched to the wing and then decided to switch back to the backrow a move which lasted one game.
I would highly doubt that Suaalii played anywhere but in the backs when playing league or union in his junior days.
As mentioned above Siua Wong made 51 tackles playing in the back row - do people really think Suaalii could handle the defensive load
How good, Samoa in the final.
They wont get over Australia but its great for Samoa to make the final.
I go to the Philippines tomorrow so Ive got to find a place in Cebu to watch it.

Great result for Samoa, and great for young Joe, real growing experience for him. Amazing Samoa won despite Milford making his usual 5 errors. New respect for Luai, he did really well. I hope Samoa really push Australia, in fact I hope they win.
